“The teachers are amazing. My daughter who barley turned three the week prior is in attendance. I was very nervous to send her anywhere. I was nervous because of her age but she was not upset when I dropped her off for her first day mainly because they have so much there to keep the kids active and engaged. She was upset when she had to leave at noon but it was because she had such a great time. I continue to hear great things about Country Cottage and am very glad she is attending.”

I got a burger that was phenomenal and my partner for an omelette that was so very filling. On top of that the staff and environment there is wo warming and welcoming. Full of regular customers and a family feeling. To go above and beyond my waitress even offered to pack my ice cream specially so it wouldn't melt on my long drive home. I felt so welcomed and loved. “Wonderful experience buying live edge wood slabs! Website had a very comprehensive list of the slabs available with prices listed ahead of time. The maple slabs I were looking at were rough cut to 3" thick to allow for a finish thickness of around 2". Many other sources I was looking at only rough cut to around 2" which is less than idea for a solid end thickness for a 10' long table. I reached out to Jeff in advanced and assured me the slabs I was looking for were available. When I arrived, Jeff let me look at the slabs and had no problems getting the slab I wanted from the middle of the stack! He and his friend were extremely helpful in loading the heavy 10' maple slab into my sedan. It needed a lot of maneuvering but they were both very patient and helpful and we got it loaded up! As a woman, I've visited lumber sources that we're judgemental and I didn't feel comfortable, but Jeff at Creation Woods made the experience very pleasant and really enjoyed meeting him and visiting his property. If you're looking for a wonderful small family owned lumber source with transparent pricing and very great customer service, you need to check out Creation Woods. Although an hour outside of Portland, it was more than worth the drive to get the perfect slab for a client. Disclaimer: I hardly ever write reviews let alone as comprehensive as this, but having searched as far as Seattle to Central Oregon (based in Portland) for live edge slabs, Creation Woods is a must for anyone looking for a supplier with solid live edge slabs and lumber. It really is a gem in the wood sourcing world. Thanks a ton Jeff and I will definitely be back in the future :)”

“Matt, Holly, Dan, Ken and Chris were fantastic. There were 4 students and there was a 1:1 ratio of Dive Instructor/Master to student if not better. Classes were relaxed and it was adapted to the speed of the student. I never felt rushed and always felt safe. It was a very personal experience. At our open water dives we had a potluck together and it was a lot of fun getting to know everyone. In contrast there was another group doing their open water dives at the same time as us and they were much less personalized or organized or safe. In the other group nobody knew each other. Several came up to our group because they had never met their instructors. I wouldn't feel safe if I was in the other group. In fact, our instructor almost had to rescue one of the other group because one of their students was struggling and we couldn't find their dive master. Holly was very patient with me even though I was definitely the weakest of our class. She was always very positive and encouraging. If you want to get scuba certified I highly recommend this crew. They may not be the fanciest but they shine where it matters and make you feel like family.”

“I just got a lot of work done at this place, they were fast and easy at scheduling my drop off and pick up. Lupe was fantastic. The only downside I would say is from my wreck I had a very obvious alert that my license plate light was out and upon pick up after I was driving I realized they never repaired it. But other than that they were cool, my insurance recommended them. Just be careful pulling into this place it’s in a busy cross section and the bus stop divides the parking lot weird.”

“Going to the dentist is commonly a horrible experience and I know I'm not alone with this opinion. I've maintained I'd rather have all my teeth pulled and replaced with dentures than go to the dentist on a routine basis. However, these guys make it ok with their welcoming presentation as soon as you walk in the door and professionally capable dental techs (and nitrous). There's no shame in using nitrous, music and sunglasses as aids to having a healthy dental experience. You can do this here and walk out with a white smile and no need to make a follow-up stop at your mental health counselor's office.”
