Reminiscent of an English country cottage environment that is welcoming and relaxing while being located in the midst of a busy suburban community with a lot of amenities close by. Great place to get away if local or for out of town guests. Hospitality amazing.
(December 5, 2021, 10:33 pm)Absolutely amazing! The breakfast was so good the room was so cozy, clean and comfy. The Inn itself made me feel like I was on the set of a holiday hallmark movie, I JUST DIDN'T WANNA LEAVE! If your looking for a weekend getaway, look no further! This place has all the amenities including awesome staff! Im looking forward to bringing my husband next time!
(December 5, 2021, 12:17 pm)From start to finish, our stay was phenomenal! The Christmas decorations were soooo beautiful. Our room was unbelievably cozy and the fireplace was that touch that put it over the top. The amenities and personal touches were just right. The breakfast quiche was delicious. And that sauna?! Even chatting with the owners and the general manager was delightful. We were so well attended. Even though we all live locally, it was like being out of town without having to travel out of town. Couldn't have picked a more perfect spot for our girls weekend getaway. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer, but we will definitely be back soon!
(February 3, 2020, 9:19 am)Staying at Doone's Inn at Oakmont was such a treat! The Inn is beautifully appointed and the rooms are spectacular! We took advantage of the warm, cozy fireplace and our only disappointment was that we were only staying there one night. The dining room showcases so many personal and prized possessions and it was fun to look at everything during our delicious continental breakfast. Glenn paid attention to every detail and made our stay extra enjoyable. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again soon!
(January 22, 2020, 8:12 pm)Doone's Inn is a hidden gem in a wonderful location close to historic Oakmont Country Club. This beautiful and gracious and generously scaled Inn is the perfect venue on which to gather an extended family, or to host a small wedding or dinner. It has the beautiful tasteful decor that was the hallmark of the lovely woman who owned the Inn for the final chapter of her eventful life. A wonderful place for a getaway Valentine's Day weekend! Enjoy it before golf season when the rooms are booked solid!
