“The Deer Lakes school "district" is small enough that teachers are able to treat the students as individuals and personalize their education. This is in contrast to larger school districts that have a more "assembly line" approach to teaching. The biggest flaw here is that the district is stuck teaching the PA state assessment tests instead of a well rounded education. East Union is for grades 3-5, and is somewhat unique in that students actually change classes twice a day. As well as allowing teachers to specialize in only 3 subjects (instead of 6), it also prepares the children for the constant changing of classes that will occur middle school.”

“I loved the food & owners! Such a cute older Italian couple. They work their butts off to satisfy their customers! The lady owner gets up at 5am to start cooking every morning! The food is super tasty & you can tell the love these two put in! If I didn't live 1hr away I'd be eating here everyday! The pizza was delicious too! “Absolutely the best Vietnamese food we have had! We had ordered the chicken coconut soup with vermicelli, Chicken and bamboo shoot noodle soup, and sizzling fish dish along with the Thai tea. This is the first time I had a straw made out of bamboo which is much better than the paper straws. The food was delicious and tasty. Great service. Parking is on the street. Great variety in menu.”
