“We took our girls to "Aunt Beth" of North Pittsburgh Animal Behavior for some training. Actually, Seira (on the recliner - in photo) needed some help with Noise Anxiety (thunder, gunshots, fireworks, car backfire, etc). Sadie (on the floor - in photo) was welcomed to come along for anything she could pick up as well. Aunt Beth was very patient and showed us several training tips to help our girl. Conquering noise anxiety is a long road to travel but with these tips we hope to provide Seira with the help she needs. “Went with a friend to challenge the penalties on her property tax. Having bought the house in mid July the taxes were sent to the seller, then again Jordan Tax service claimed to send a reminder in October... but unfortunately that too went under the wrong name and my friend never received notice. The magistrate was very fair, and visibly uncomfortable with the unethical practice of adding 600 to the first notice that they sent to the correct owner, but said his hands were tied. In the end, I think we residents of these townships need to demand that ethical collectors are used. When she received the notice she paid immediately in full.... not every individual is capable of doing that and it concerns me what added fees would they incur? The magistrate cannot undo bad policy, but he was fair and asked good questions of their lawyer (that's right, they pay a lawyer to defend collecting 600 for correcting the name the send it too-call that research!) I think as a resident it is time I question the township on their use of Jordan Tax Services.”

“Sun and Cricket was one of the most memorable stays for us. The location of this B&B was perfect. It is close to civilization yet provides one the feeling of being far away in the country. The property is fantastic with a beautiful hayfield and a barn with lovely horses to visit. We stayed in the cabin adjacent to the main house. Tara and John are wonderful hosts - super friendly and very accommodating. Our custom made breakfast was beyond phenomenal. Tara makes a delicious breakfast that would rival any five star hotel. The cabin has ample room for a couple with a dining and living room area on the first floor and bedroom and powder room/shower on the second floor. It was super cozy and extremely comfortable. The bedding was very comfy too. Just a note, if you have mobility issues, the tight spiral staircase to the second floor might be an issue. The cabin and entire property is very clean and meticulously maintained. Honestly, Tara and John were so friendly it felt like we were staying with good friends. I highly recommend this very nice and comfortable B&B.”

My experience with Friendly Movers was top notch from beginning to end. Right out of the gate, I had a wonderful experience with Debbie who gave me a quote and eventually booked our move. She returned my initial call promptly. She was very thorough asking what we'd be moving. Gave me a quote right away. Our moving crew Kyle, Stacey and Seth were the best! They showed up on time and were pleasant throughout the entire move - despite the fact that my mom's house has about 40 steps leading up to the street. Not once did they complain - they were totally professional (and funny). They got everything out of the old place and everything into the new place in 3 hours - just like they said they would. “We were traveling home to Michigan from Pennsylvania, when the radiator on our truck blew out. We limped to a Walmart in Gibsonia, PA, and started a Google search for a repair shop on a Sunday night no less. I called Bakerstown Radiator Monday morning and they got my truck right in. We were towing our travel trailer so we were able to hang out in the trailer while the truck was being repaired. When the truck was repaired the owner drove to the Walmart to give me a ride back to his shop to pick up our truck. Good work and very professional.”

“I thought I played a lot of the courses in Pittsburgh, but I never played this little gem. It is pretty tight in some spots so you have to be accurate, but it is also forgiving in spots. The course is in great shape and is a lot of fun. Lots of hills and feels like a really long course. Fun par 3's and beautifu par 5's. Good time.”
