“Good facility for football organization. They support our youth football league. Decent football field. Concession stand during football game. Lots of parking. Gravel parking lot. Lot of bugs during warm weather due to location. Close to the river and wet lands. It hosts a nice Halloween hayride for the kids in October.”

Trout Run Sports Complex

Address: 950 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606, USA

Park

“Nice place for the youth in the community to play football. Also has a couple baseball fields. It can get alot of bugs (gnats, etc...) due to its location near the schuylkill river. Bring bug spray just in case you hit one of those evenings where the bugs can get annoying. Nice to have a place like this in the township.”

Lorane Hollow Park

Address: W 48th St, Reading, PA 19606, USA

“At around 5 p.m. we had the park all to ourselves. It's a great park for any age. I personally always appreciated going to parks that had the smaller child swings when I needed to get some outside time with an infant. This park has been updated within the last year.”

Danielle Ruiz-Murphy Center for Animal Welfare and Dog Park

Address: 503 S Center Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508, USA

Park

“Good dog park. It is decent size to fun around or play fetch. It has a small dog and large dog area. Wasn't very crowded when we went, which can be a positive or negative depending on your dog. It had a nice shady picnic area between the small and large dog area. If you live close it's a good place to visit, but not worth a longer drive.”

“Nice place to play. Could use some coverage of players benches.”
