Mount Penn Preserve

Park

“Great place for mountain biking but definitely not beginner oriented. Trails are very well maintained and there is a great community is riders surrounding and supporting the place. Only downside is proximity to Reading, which makes it a hot spot for teenage weed smokers to rip on Honda civics... Kind of kills the nature vibe sometimes.”

Neversink loop

Address: 91 Klapperthal Rd, Reading, PA 19606, USA

Park

“This is a really fun area to go on a hike. There is a lot of hiking that can be done on the mountain here. Theres a lot of really old foundations and if you do some research you can find out a lot of history of that area of the county. Once hiking you will see views of areas that you might have never seen before. Very nice trails with a stream and little water ways. Well worth a stop”

“This is a really good hiking park. The trials are very nice and there are a few to chose from. I really like how they have done some good parking changes here and made it a lot nicer to get to the lake and go around the lake. Great place close to the city to go and feel like your far away.”
