Marsh Creek State Park

Address: 675 Park Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335, USA

Park

“Great state park. Clean and well maintained. There are lots of activities you can do at this park. I do wish the bathrooms stayed open year round. They have a port a potty for late fall/winter seasons. Nice trail, picnic areas, fishing areas.”

Johnsontown Park

Address: Downingtown, PA 19335, USA

Park

“A 13+ acre park in Downtown Borough along the east branch of the Brandywine Creek. The park provides soccer fields and has a ton of soccer nets. It has a picnic pavilion and the Dave Hatt Pavillion, two Port-a-Pottys, a basketball court, two swings, a playground and a walking path. The walking path does a loop and also connects by a path to the Milltown bridge behind the Dowiningtown Borough Police Department over the Brandywine Creek to the path to Kerr Park. The path also has a learning section with things like hop scotch. Distance markers would be a nice addition to the park.”
