Laurel Highlands River Tours and Outdoor Center

Unbelievable day and experience for my son and I ! Being a native of Fayette County PA it was so awesome to return and introduce my teenage son to Ohiopyle and White Water Rafting and what a day it was ! The river was up to 8’ high in early May and our guide Noah along with other staff gave us an outstanding trip and memorable day ! I can’t say enough good things about LH River Tours ! Thanks so much!

Went there for the first time with our kid. From phone inquiry to registeration online to interaction on the main office, everyone was professional and friendly. We enjoyed every bit of the trip and had quality time as a family while working out some muscles. Middle Yough is an easy section of the river, if beginners like us can do it, you can do it. Parts of the river were shallow that older kids can stand in, other parts are deeper but definitely less than 6 feet (my estimate). The main store has items with reasonable prices that are handy for a day at the river.

This was our teens first ever white water rafting trip and Laurel Highlands was the perfect choice! Our guide Ray was very knowledgeable, helpful and kept our teens at ease with positive reinforcement as we took on the rapids together. He was very cool and had our teens experience surfing the rapid, riding the bull and more. Everyone had a great time and can't wait to go again. The rapids were awesome and just the right level of excitement for our newbies. Kudos to Laurel Highlands for changing our start time due to high waters to ensure our safety for our trip. Thank you to Ray and Bob for a great experience!

Looking for outdoor fun to do with teenagers? This is the place to go! We had 3 teenage girls with us that absolutely loved this! Kylee, our guide was amazing! She was strong, smart, & had a ton of knowledge of the River & surrounding area. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip or role model for my girls! Thank you for a fantastic memory! ❤️❤️❤️

We have rafted the Lower Yough a few times; but this was our 1st experience rafting the Upper Yough. Knowing this was an advance rafting trip, we definitely appreciate the professionalism and the safety considerations that Laurel Highlands provided. Very easy to register, gear was top notch, and guides were outstanding. Special thanks for our Guides Noah, Jay, Kylee, Jake, and Rookie for the outstanding efforts with keeping my family safe during this memorable trip. The Upper Yough definitely lived up to the challenging nature and are thankful for all of the guides' assistance with mishaps. We highly recommend Laurel Highland River Tours as the best and we will definitely be back. We also love your camp grounds, all of your rafting tours, and your incredible crew - It make our family get-away more memorable..
