“Stopped in after a long hike in the rain. They welcomed my dog and me in the outdoor bar and let us sit at the bar so we wouldn’t get wet. They had 8 beers on tap, I tried 6 small pours. All 6 were local and tasty. The food menu had a great variety, it was truly very hard to decide, I might return to try more things on the menu! The brisket, broccolini and fresh cut fries were amazing! The brisket was so tender and the bbq sauce was delicious! And everyone is so friendly; you definitely get the small town vibes.”

“Great Reuben sandwich which the staff highly recommended and said it was their most popular sandwich. I also had the fresh cut fries with malt vinegar, both were very good. The restaurant is great, location fantastic as we hiked all morning ate lunch and then went for a bike ride. Perfect day and a perfect restaurant, you have to sit outside and enjoy the distant sound of the nearby rushing water.”

At least during our visit, they only had an outdoor area for sitting, which could be great during warmer seasons, but a challenge during winter. Food portion is average for a sandwich or a dog. If you a hungry person, you might need to ask two items to go. People with allergies or intolerance, their menu is customized for your needs whether you’re asking savories or sweets. Kudos to the team for compostable containers.”
