This is a beautiful state park not far from rt 81. They just built new bathrooms and showers and they were awesome. Sites are large and private some with full hookups, some just water, some just electric. A beautiful fishing stream runs through it. A large pool with a big slide for the kids. The only downside, sites are not level.
Park staff very friendly ! We had trouble with our first campsite , and they got us a new one immediately no problem. All the shower rooms and bathrooms are brand new. Just all around a great place definitely will be back soon.
Beautiful park with lots to offer. Swim in the pool, play in the creek, have a picnic at one of many tables all along the creek. You can stay close to the commotion or venture further for a little peace.
Lots of camping, which is also a good place for a walk or bike ride.
Playground for kids is great, lots of room.
Perfect place for friends or family, large groups or small. Pavilions available as well.
Numerous hiking trails around the park. Some are just an easy stroll while others are a major hike with part of the Appalachian trail running through. Venture further north on route 233 to find much more hiking spots.
They keep the park nice and clean, which is great. There is ample parking throughout, and they host events. The visitors center provides maps, which is nice for hiking.
Really nice park for locals or travelers that is super conveniently just off of Route 30.
A beautiful state park with many covered pavilions and picnic areas. Super nice trails running in all directions along a bold running stream. Many fishermen trying there luck for stocked trout while there in April. Appalachian Trail runs through park, a great day hike to the north from parking area. Nature center and camping available.

(717) 352-2161. A group of my friends and I stayed at Caledonia State Park in the CALEDONIA LODGE last fall (Sept 2016). We love finding a state park somewhere in the middle of the state to spend a weekend enjoying the great outdoors. We picked the Caledonia Lodge because it was big...
