“Nice & peaceful place to stay. Beautiful sunrise & sunsets. Friday & Saturday (if weather permits) Amish come selling baked goods. Alot of fun things to do with family. Lots of shopping near. The one thing I must say is that the office is rarely open & that's an inconvenience.”

“I been at the Loose Caboose now for a month. This is one of the best campsites I been at. Its very clean, well maintained, great view. The owners are so nice, the go out of the way to make sure the people here are taken care of. They let you know events, always there if you need something. I been looking for a place like this for a long time and wish I would of found it a long time ago. There's so much to do and very friendly environment. There very good with pets also, plenty of places to walk here or just sit around and enjoy the sites. Very relaxing. The sites are a nice size and not on top of each other. I can honestly say this is my new home.”

“A ton of great memories here!! The three ball fields are kept in top condition, and the park has a hockey rink, walking trails, and nice open fields. Next up tho, a restroom upgrade, please? Tin doors with no latches :(”

“This preserve is over 900 acres and connects directly to 300 plus acre Money Rocks County Park. Welsh Mountains were named in the 1700s by settlers who were reminded them of their homeland. The preserve has an abundance of rare ferns and wildflowers found on the preserve, including carrion flower, pink lady slipper, striped wintergreen, white Campion. Other flora include mountain laurel, birch, oak and maple trees, princess pine, mosses and lichens. Animals in the preserve include white tailed deer, wild turkey, numerous species of songbirds, Ruffed grouse and woodpeckers. The Welsh Mountains id the second-largest continuous forest left in Lancaster County. The park has over 4 miles of marked park trails including a half mile ADA trail. Adding mini map kiosks at trail intersections would be helpful as trails do not show up on google maps.”
