“This is where my new polling station is located. My old station was in Paradise Stream. My old station had a huge bake sale for every election. A nice reward for doing my Civic duty. People there talked to each other no matter what your political choices were. We were community. At my new polling station it was antiseptic and cold. No bake sale, no comrade, NO COMMUNITY. I love voting. I love participating in the process. I love talking to my neighbors, not only about politics but about family and life. Unlike Paradise, St Paul's does nothing to Foster community. After we voted, my wife and I drove over to our old polling place and visited with the lovely ladies running the bake sale, ate some cookies, and talked with our old neighbors. I LOVE election day!!!”
