“This place is da bomb. The hot dogs are the best, and the prices are great. As a kid in the early 80's we used to stop here on the way back home from the Outer Banks during the summer. I loved it then, and came here a week ago for the first time since probably 1985. It's just as good as I remembered it over 30 years ago, and still is the same divey spot it always was. I honestly don't know why anyone would order anything other than the hot dogs here.”

The food as usual is very good, but it took 25 minutes to get seated, almost 20 more to order, and over 45 more for the three of us to get our hot sandwiches. The atmosphere here is very nice, but prepare for a long wait.”

We went on a Friday night and there was great energy, timely seating and service, and a great dinner or very tasty steak, sides and some signature cocktails. “I came across Coyote Crossing a few years ago with a few co-workers who wanted to grab lunch there. I have frequently revisited with my wife on numerous occasions. The food is great as it comes out fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is very authentic and takes Mexican cuisine to the next level. The margaritas and drinks are also very tasty. I personally am a big fan of their pineapple cilantro margarita! I even used Coyote Crossing as a venue to host my wedding reception and the restaurant was extremely accommodating. The owner (Carlos), made sure that my wife and I as well as all of our guests were well taken care of. Our guests could not stop raving about the food for days on end! We have a few of our guests who have dietary restrictions (celiac, vegetarian, dairy free etc.) and the restaurant was able to accommodate every single one. The interior of the restaurant has great decor and has a cozy environment, especially in the inside dining room. The exterior of the restaurant has a nice patio space with tables and a fountain. This made for a couple of great pictures and added to the ambiance. I look forward to every visit here and would definitely use Coyote Crossing again for events and gatherings.”

“I have lived in this area for almost 2 years and didn't know this hidden gem existed. I found out about it because of a coupon that came in a neighborhood mailer. But needless to say when I went in I was happy that I I went in. Very clean store. Owner was really nice. Now the roast beef sandwich I had was good. She told me they cook the roast beef there. It was really good and I would order it again. Another thing that I like was the variety on the menu and they had a really nice selection of chips. I definitely recommend and I look forward to coming back again.”
