“BEAUTIFUL building. Weird voting process for zoning meeting tho! No ID needed No fliers for immediate neighbouring homes No color coded vote slips No parking lol No sign in book It reminded me of 1989 meeting process! Let's make this a teachable moment. “Went to Mass this past Sunday with the cloistered Carmelites Order on N. Broad St. at 66th Avenue- a literal oasis of contemplation on a bustling City corridor. Their stunning singing and prayers from the Nuns on the other side of the iron gates at the back of the altar- was so ridiculously beautiful. Also present: young families with children, diverse congregants, and a fantastic Priest presiding with 6 assisting seminarians and priests at his side. Predominantly a Latin Mass with exception of Gospel and Homily- and sacred, reverential, moving, mystical- and yet also so real and present.
