“This place is STELLAR for the fitness fanatic. They offer a unique and diverse selection of amenities. Upon entering you are immediately notified of the free workout provided to every customer. They have turned off the elevator out of their concern for the obesity epidemic. Making the stairwell feel like a crackhead may pop out at any time really gets you running up those stairs. Upon arrival to the room, you are greeted with a scent designed to discourage any urge u may have had to lounge around in the room being lazy. You will not be oversleeping and wasting away the day on these mattresses! Stained and lumpy is the name of the game. Heavy sleeper? Plenty of creepy crawlers to wake you in the wee hours and get your blood pumping. Still not motivated? The exposed wires coming out of the walls will give you the jump start you need. A+”

“This is a review for Akwaaba, which is the new B&B I. The home that used to be Spruce Hill Manner. Monique has totally redecorated and created a chic, stunning, and inviting space. Her breakfasts (we've had two so far) have been delicious and healthy, and she was so conscientious about modifying her cooking to accommodate my health-related food restrictions. The bed is very comfortable, the robes feel cushy and swank, and we've had a great stay so far.”

“I was pleasant surprised staying at the Conwell Inn. The room was spacious. TV, air conditioned and heat, and free parking. It is right in the Temple campus. Basic toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, face bar. It’s next to a 7-11 and Maxi’s (pizza, bar). Some mild late night noise. I stayed during an orientation weekend and the band woke me up at 10am. I had a midnight arrival due to my flight hence why I slept in. It was a pleasant sound once I finally woke up. Free coffee in the room. There’s a coffee maker. Will definitely stay here again.”

“Stayed here for a week while my apartment was getting ready and truly had an amazing stay. My room was clean and bed super comfortable, hot breakfast every morning and coffee 24 hours. shout out to the girls at the front desk. They really took care of me and my dog, and the sweet breakfast lady in the mornings and the maintenance guy! beautiful stay and I look forward to coming back again.”

“Rooms are big, clean, and the staff is great. Last stay, I was on the 7th floor, at many hotels there would be no hot water at 7:00 am and lousy water pressure, I was surprised to find plenty of hot water and water pressure was great !! The elevator ride is cool, windows to watch the ride up/down. And, the parking scheme is very good. I bailed on another hotel because the walk to the front door was stupid long (parking was in the back, and long walk in 25 degree weather). Here, it's a relatively short walk from wherever you park. Oh, I did I mention the rooms are big?”

“This turned out to be a terrific alternative to the higher-priced hotels in downtown Philadelphia. This bed and breakfast is in the Germantown section of Philly. The host family was extremely nice and provided a continental style breakfast. The muffins were homemade and delicious. It was fun to eat a family style breakfast with the other people staying there. The rooms were clean & cozy with a homestyle comfort. There was plenty of on-street parking so I was able to just leave my car and take a Lyft into the city saving me the aggravation of trying to find a spot downtown. Great experience.”
