“Yesterday I was invited by an old friend to check out Michael's Tavern in McDonald. I was promised some of the crispiest/delicious wings around and was told the burgers are best of the best as well. So I grabbed a wingman (lol), and my parents to go check it out. My dad pretty much gets a burger everywhere and absolutely loves a good old fashioned regular burger. Mom doesn't order burgers out very often, but they both decided to order based on the recommendations. Well they both absolutely loved their burgers!!! Dad's not easy to please when it comes to his burgers either lol. So thank you! Now for the wing's. My buddy and I split 3 flavors of perfectly cooked and crispy wings. Makayla and Ethan (a sauce named after the owners kids), Steel Curtain, and Crazy Cajun Garlic Parmesan were our first timer choices. BOMB!! Crispy outside and tender inside covered in incredible homemade sauces. That combo of crunch and deliciousness pushed them into my top 3 favorite wings I've had since coming back home to Pa. I'm so glad Josh messaged me to check them out! Appreciate it man. You guys are putting out some great stuff! Shout out to Renee, our bartender and server, who was absolutely outstanding. “Tonight my family & I had dinner at The Last Call. I had a gift card and thought it was the perfect time to have something other than Thanksgiving leftovers. The three of us had their Monday burger special. Each burger was prepared to order and cooked perfectly. The whole meal had generous portions and was served hot & fresh. It is obvious why burgers at The Last Call were named Best of the Burgh in Pittsburgh Magazine’s readers poll! (So delicious!!) Also, our server did a terrific job and all the staff worked together as a team to ensure an enjoyable dining experience. The Last Call is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The fun, friendly, casual atmosphere and excellent food keeps me coming back!”

“Walden's in Burgettstown is always my "go to" lunch stop when bike riding on the Panhandle Rail Trail. Family owned and operated, Walden's has a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food at reasonable prices. On summer Sundays, they have a BBQ menu: a choice of ribs, chicken or pork along with two sides for $10! I had ribs, collard greens and potato salad. Everything is homemade and unbelievably good. The chimichanga is my go to when we get take out and today I got a meal a 1/3 of the size that it normally is. Normally it fills the plate. I was pretty disappointed. Had chicken strip dinner for $10.99. I almost popped my eyeballs out when I saw the amount of food. The meal came with one extra and we choose coleslaw and it was so damn creamy and good!! Best I ever had! The chicken was 5 yes 5 pieces and it’s was so tender and juicy and cooked to perfection!! No stringy parts or fat or anything. The bed of fries it came with were perfect. Just the right texture. Not soft and not over cooked. Plus THEY WERE NOT ONE BIT GREASY!! For a woman who has a sensitive tummy this was the icing on the cake!! The cook is Carla and I would eat here every day of wk for life if I lived closer!! If you have the chance to go to DUKES, by all means stop in. You won’t regret it!!”

“4 Stars basically because I am comparing it to other Burger Kings in the area. The speed of service, quality of food, and accuracy are superior to the Belle Vernon & Rostraver locations of this franchise. Do they forget things? Sometimes. Are the orders always accurate? Nope. Is the food always amazing and warm? Unfortunately it is not. However, check your bag while at the restaurant. Just pull into a space. Then if you courteously address the staff, they will replace the item with no hesitation. Even if they do not agree with your judgment of quality. I have witnessed an individual being threatened by a manager at another BK over old fries. So, I appreciate that I've never seen more than an eye roll, sigh, or comment after the customer left here. Thus, more decorum than most places. Honestly, it should be a 3 star review, but often times they are severely understaffed, and still try their best. I appreciate their level of customer service.”
