“We had a very nice Mother's Day dinner at Lamplighter. We go out for dinner on three holidays a year and have for years. This was one of the very best we have found. There was a great variety of food...several cooked veggies, fresh fruit and veggies, two types of potatoes, pasta, baked fish, chicken and gravy, a carving station with ham, turkey, lamb, and prime rib, chilled shrimp, several types of salads including really good broccoli salad, a great cheese board with a bunch of different cheeses on the block, and a great dessert table including the Lamplighter's wonderful pies. I'm sure I'm missing a few things, but you get the idea. There was enough variety for everyone to find something they loved. In addition, the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Lamplighter Restaurant, and we will definitely be visiting again.”

“From my initial phone call to get an food to go, Brian was easy to talk with and place my order. The young woman (sorry I didnt get her name) finished my order at p/u was also very nice and professional. My order was 100% correct. The Mediterranean Salad was fresh and crisp...nice mix of veggies. The Oven Roasted Chix Wings are what made it a 4 star review. Couldn't tell if they were fried then roasted or just roasted but just not the best wings I have ever had. I would return to this location the next time I'm in town...the food and employees were good enough for my repeat business...Q!”

“Pittsburgh BBQ is my go to food joint when I need either a great meal for myself and family, or when I have company from out of town. My favorites are the brisket, pulled pork and the mac and cheese. The meat is moist, smokey and flavorful. I also love the collard greens, as they hard to find around Western PA. I buy their BBQ sauce to keep in the fridge for use at any time. Yes, it is that good. And finally, the staff is always so friendly and helpful!”

“Reasonably good place to go. Not exceptional. Very very busy. Food is acceptable. I expected more flavours and better taste as this was a specialist Mexican joint. As I said, food is good but not exceptional, which is what I expected. Ambience is good too. Ample parking. Menu says “ask for our drink menu” but no such thing is available. They do have 3 drinks mentioned on their regular menu and although I do not remember the name, I had ordered the middle one and it was served frozen and it was very good. That drink bought the joint the fourth star in my review.”
