“A beautiful and historic country club on lovely grounds. They have both a friendly and professional staff. There is a piano both upstairs and downstairs, multiple fireplaces, and multiple bars. They feature what looked like a very nice pool, though I wasn't able to check it out due to the inclement weather. Arnold Palmer is featured extensively throughout, both in pictures and in name. I appreciated the fresh cut flowers throughout the building!”

My husband had the grilled chicken salad with the house italian dressing. My daughter had the chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce. My son and I had the Jack Daniel's Chicken sandwich...the Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce was excellent. I used it to dip my fries. SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!! Appetizers we had the onion rings, pretzel sticks and mozerella sticks. Everything was so good. We will definitely be back.”

“This is a great place for BBQ! I had the pulled pork dinner with fries, baked beans, and cole slaw. The pulled pork was definitely my favorite part of the meal, but everything was really good! There is a good amount of meat in the baked beans also. The meal was very good and filling! The bread that is made fresh is also amazing and a must have! I also have to mention how friendly and helpful the owner is. He even brought out samples for us to try! We will definitely be visiting here often!”

“We used the Verso room for our wedding reception a long with the in house catering. Jim Murphy and his staff were fantastic. Absolutely went all they way for us . Very accommodating and we used Murphy’s pub for our rehearsal dinner . The food from the catering and the pub was phenomenal. We had the hall three days before our wedding to decorate and the staff helped us clean up and even carry stuff to our vehicles !”

“We had a very nice Mother's Day dinner at Lamplighter. We go out for dinner on three holidays a year and have for years. This was one of the very best we have found. There was a great variety of food...several cooked veggies, fresh fruit and veggies, two types of potatoes, pasta, baked fish, chicken and gravy, a carving station with ham, turkey, lamb, and prime rib, chilled shrimp, several types of salads including really good broccoli salad, a great cheese board with a bunch of different cheeses on the block, and a great dessert table including the Lamplighter's wonderful pies. I'm sure I'm missing a few things, but you get the idea. There was enough variety for everyone to find something they loved. In addition, the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Lamplighter Restaurant, and we will definitely be visiting again.”

My only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the food. We ordered wings & a white pizza. They were both mediocre, not bad but not great, had better, I've made better. We will come back to try other meals though.”
