The ground level windows could be protected in cases of civil unrest or violent storms with solid wooden shutters, while the second floor gallery windows have slatted wooden shutters to allow shade from the hot summer sun, ventilation, and views of the grounds in close proximity to the Church allowing evil doers to be identified for local Law Enforcement to pursue.”
