“The selection of specialty items here is excellent but their produce is lacking, especially organic produce, and their prices are very high. I tend to come here when I need something that I know I will have difficulty finding at one of the other local grocery stores (both the ACME stores or both the Co-Op locations). Things like specialty cheeses, crackers, frozen items, etc. are all wonderful but with their prices being what they are it's just not reasonable to shop here regularly for standard staples.”

In the evening you’ll get local TJ students at the registers and deli, and they sometimes don’t move as fast as I’d like, however, they are almost always polite and respectful. The day staff are very kind and welcoming and do quality work. The prices here are competitive, and they accept coupons. There’s a Redbox out front for movie rentals. This place has often saved us from having to make the longer and more stressful trip to Century III Giant Eagle or Aldi. We love our local grocery and try to shop here as we are able to support them.”

You are also able to make appointments with other bankers for issues that cannot be handled online or over the phone. You will feel very safe in the office. I have been a TWCU member for more than 20 years. I've had good service both in AZ and TX. I have a variety of accounts with them from savings, line of credit, to IRA. I do all of my money transactions with this credit union. The individuals who work at this branch are wonderful. They are always so friendly and willing to go the extra mile to assist me. They never push services on me. They genuinely seem to be happy to be at work, which is nice to see in today's world. I recommend TWCU and I highly recommend visiting this branch should you need to interact with someone in person.”

“This is what the locals call the secret Khuns Because it is located off of the main street. Can get busy in the evening when everyone is coming home from work and stopping to get something to eat. They have all of the main staples, plus they make their own donuts. Their produce section is good but not great, where they lack is the choices of meat substitutes and plant-based alternatives to meat. They have a nice large parking lot that is never full so parking is not a problem. It’s also right off that number 16 bus route so you can get your groceries by bus if needed.”

The woman running the counter is super sweet and made me a tasty Chinese omelet wrap. It's super unique -- you can't find this meal anywhere else in Pittsburgh and I had never seen it during my time living in Boston either. It came full of cilantro, sesame seeds, pig ears, sausage, beef brisket, homemade sauces, and more! It was super filling for lunch and I left feeling extremely happy and satisfied. Do yourself a favor and stop at Lotus for lunch next time you're in the area!”
