Paul Johns Neighborhood Park aka: Rock Springs Park

Nice little park with covered picnic table area and a few swings and such for kids. We have been coming here for years, to meet with family or simply eat a lunch and hang out for a few minutes and chill out. Literally, for some reason this park 🏞️ seems to have a bit more wind than others, so when it's 🥶 cold, you can go ahead and add the wind chill factor to your plans.

It has several great things for a neighborhood park - a nice playground, a great shaded path with creek access (our dog loves this), a spray station (we love this on a hot day), and a bathroom building. The only downside is a natural gas compressor station which is adjacent to the park. It's an eyesore but otherwise not an issue.

Great park for a quick walk with my leashed dog. Other people there weren't rude. Bring your own poop bags; there are plenty of trash cans. There was only litter/trash along the sidewalk by the road (thrown from cars), otherwise the park is super clean & well-kept. Lots of benches in the shade, very picturesque.

Great park for kids and adults. Its the perfect community park for walking and exploring withs kids. Only one basketball court. Very nice shaded walking trail with creek access. The playground has two tire swings and two infant swings. Bathrooms are in decent condition but functioning. In the summer they turn on the mister.
