Belly Dance with Jasmine

Our party for my 90 year old brother-in-law was fabulous. This is all he wanted for his birthday and Jasmine did a wonderful job. He especially loved the part where he was able to dance with her!!!!!

Jasmine approaches dance with thoughtfulness, respect and authenticity. She encouraged me and helped me grow as a dancer in a way that has really refreshing. Oh yeah and her technique is AMAZING!

Jasmine is an wonderful, well rounded and educated dance teacher. She provides an Excellent learning environment and helps open you up to your own creativity. I will be taking classes with her again! I recommend her for all levels of dancers, she will give beginners a great foundation and can help more experienced dances grow and learn. The class environment is also very friendly and inviting.

DWJ is one of the best Middle Eastern Dance/Dance companies in the city! Jasmine is a beautiful, knowledgeable dancer who is trained in many dance & art forms. Her dance is scintillating, powerful, and respectful of cultural behavior and diversity, which is so important. She continues to offer a wide and varied array of classes and workshops that will entice you and challenge you, but always joyfully take you to that next level of your dance. Though the self-exploration that each class fosters and encourages, you will discover and unlock new aspects of yourself AND the dance that you never dreamed existed. Yes; she’s THAT good!! And though her classes are designed to bring a challenge, Jasmine’s classes are also very beginner-friendly. She always happily takes the time to insightfully personalize and offer suggestions and explanations to those new to the art form. I love, love, LOVE dancing with Jasmine, and am truly becoming a better, and more fit, dancer because of her offerings to the Memphis community. And I have so much more that I look forward to learning from her! Fun, fitness, sisterhood & comraderie, encouragement, challenge, self/exploration, and self-acceptance; these are just a few of the elements that I have found with DWJ. 5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
