This surgeon very likely saved my life in 1988 as a very young child. I had hydrocephalus and he implanted a shunt which allowed me to not only survive, but thrive. I'm now 33 years old and I have a child of my own (who is now the same age as I was when I would see Dr. Muhlbauer to follow up on my surgery) and I still remember how kind and cheerful he was. Glad to see he's still practicing and has accomplished so much!

Dr. Muhlbauer has watched my son grow along with monitoring his well being, he also has a wonderful sense of humor. not only does he inform on whats going on he has also taught me how to read scans.
