For this introverted spiritual seeker, The Church of the River is a wonderful space to connect with people and ideas and stretch into social justice activism.

(March 27, 2018, 3:53 pm)A place of great energy and commitment to UU principles with a large, and devoted congregation. The choir is wonderful, the view of the river is breathtaking, and they are blessed with the Rev. Sam Teitel, who an outstanding minister.
(October 18, 2017, 3:42 pm)This congregation understands the importance of cultivating and maintaining a serious, spiritual life, but is capable of respecting a variety of theological viewpoints. I love our willingness to share a good laugh among ourselves and extend a ready welcome to visitors. The church has been extremely fortunate to recruit a young, dynamic minister -The Reverend Sam Teitel. Our congregation is excited about the direction his ministry will take us. Come check us out!
