Bike the Planet

If there was an option for 10 stars, I’d give it. My family is visiting on vacation and the tire on my dads wheelchair blew. We called about 15 bike shops, medical supply stores, sport stores, etc. Everyone was very kind but most weren’t super helpful (it’s a weird situation so we understand), and we weren’t sure what to do next because my dad can’t get around without his wheelchair. Mel, the owner, spent the time to find an out-of-the-box solution, fix/replace the tires, and even did a little tune up on the wheelchair. Mel and his wife were so kind and were such life-savers today. The trip we’re on is very sentimental to our family and without Mel, we wouldn’t have been able to finish it out. I wish there was more we could say besides thank you, but hopefully this review helps in some small way.

Great store for bicycle repairs an there is large selection of bike parts. Repairs can be flat tire on kid bike to full tuneup on carbon frame.

The gentleman (I did not get his name) knew exactly what I needed, he did not try to "sell" me anything else. I got what I needed at a fair price and had a bunch of questions answered.

I had an older cannonade super v that I wanted to update and make more modern. The staff at Bike the Planet was super easy to deal with. When I picked up my bike I feel like we were old friends. I would recommend this bike shop for all your biking needs!

I Googled local bike shops and this shop came up. We are so happy we bought from Mel. He and Renee were so helpful. They were not pushy in any way. After we bought the bikes they hung with us for a while to teach us all about them. Our plan is to go back there today to buy some accessories because we want to buy from them. This place is a must if you're looking for a bike or accessories they have them all.
We also love the fact that Mel is retired military.
