“The park is fine! The connecting trail system is even better. Visited in early December. Don’t let the local negativity surrounding the history of the park detour from the great view of the big Muddy. Definitely make sure to get out of the parking lot by closing, otherwise your vehicle will be locked in a gated parking lot. Doc’d a star because they don’t post that access gates are chained closed.”

“Another fine company. Top of the line, newer model trucks with APUs. All 53' dry van trailers. Hazmat license required, but they'll help you get one, if needed. Many fine drivers, good office personnel and amenities you'd expect at the Home Terminal. Though the parking lot could use some work. Secure area on President's Island.”

“One of my very favorite places to go when I just need quiet time by myself or when friends are visiting Memphis. There is always a nice cool breeze coming off of the river. You can stay in the parking lot or at the top of the bank and enjoy the view, or you can walk right down to the river itself. I like to sit and watch the barges and the other boat sail by. Or to just walk down to the sand and collect rocks. There is also a lovely view of the Memphis bridge from here. A perfect place to enjoy nature and to take photographs.”

“We have had two children at Mary Linsmeier School - Brookfield for seven years now. Our experience has been wonderful. The staff is well trained and very attentive to our needs. They have been very flexible and accommodating to our changing work schedules. Most of all though they have been fantastic educators for our children. People say daycare is not the same as school but with MLS there is a definite educational aspect with regular art projects, science experiments etc. The staff does a great job of making the day fun for the kids and as a parent, this is a big key. Our two children enjoy their time at daycare interacting with their friends and teachers. When it comes time to pick them up, they are excited to tell us about their day. After seven years, I feel like we are part of the family and that is a great feeling.”
