“My husband and I live nearby and have passed this gym for years. We finally went in for a tour and joined almost 3 months ago, since he enjoys running and it’s way too hot to run outside. I have a peloton and adjustable weights at home but wanted to incorporate machines, barbells, etc. We are so happy with our decision to join! As others have mentioned, the staff is very friendly, on your way in and out everyday and tells you to have a good workout. I’ve been taking BodyPump classes regularly with Helen and I LOVE the class. Perfect full body high repetition workout. There are tons of very nice treadmills and the incline goes up to 20%, which is more than most people would ever want. They have almost every machine/weight apparatus you could wish for and I’ve never had to stand around waiting for what I need to open up. It helped that when we joined, there was a 20% off special so we will get that discount for as long as we are members. The pool is also great and they play good music! We love the Ric Nuber YMCA and would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a gym to join. Members are friendly and kind too!”

“Coming from different yoga studios, HOTWORX was the one for me. I can actually breathe in my heated sessions. Let me just tell you the sweat is unreal. My favorite sessions are truly all of them. I come everyday, and do each session a day. My favorites consist of, HOT YOGA, HOT PILATES, HOT CORE, and HOT BARRE NONE. I also loved the new HIIT sessions. The other studios didn’t offer me cycle with my membership, like HOTWORX did. Love the detox I get from this and I feel so relieved after.”

“We absolutely love Memphis Cheer! Mrs. Terri greets you at the door every day with a beautiful smiling face and she knows every single child's name. The second you walk onto the gym floor you immediately feel a sense of family. Each Coach knows your child and encourages them to be the best they can be regardless of whether they are coaching them or not. Once upstairs you meet the amazing family of moms and dads who greet everyone with open arms and help in any way they can to make you feel right at home. From upstairs, you can view all the teams and see how much hard work and dedication that is put into their practices. If your child is not practicing with their team, each Coach provides individualized time for the children in private lessons that are certainly affordable. Included with your cheer are Ninja and Tumbling classes that range from Level 1 to 5 and Jason and Bryant are absolutely amazing. You will also always see the Owners of the gym walking around the floor, going upstairs to the family area, and just letting everyone know what an open door policy they have in their office should any parent or child need them. I can't say enough about how much we LOVE Memphis Cheer!!!!!”
