“Waste management is a difficult job. The city of Gallatin has a good team and I have received regular pickup for 7 years. They do have rules and some drivers are absolute about those rules. I assume that's why there a couple of low scores. Personally, I've watched my neighbors violate these simple instructions and have their bins picked up or left, but a letter was always left explaining the problem. If you have large items, you have call for pickup. My 4 stars are for this rule... I've met the truck grabbing furniture from a few house down and asked if he would take my old grill that I was rolling out. He refused because I didn't call. Rules.”

“The road test examiner “Savage”…well he really was savage. Super nice man! Even held the door for people, which is so rare nowadays. The lady at the counter was very helpful. I was a walk-in on Wed & was done in 1 hour. PRO TIP: You can request an e ticket on the TN dmv website which holds your place in line up to 2 hours before arriving. The website also lists wait times for each location & you can also setup appointments. When you walk in, there is a kiosk inside on your right, or even better you can use the QR code on the sign when you first walk in to check in. Additional parking in back (see photo). Be patient with these people, they want you in and out as fast as possible, too.”

“I called this office early in the day on 12/01/2022 and received a very rude person that gave an incorrect answer, then we called the 1-800 number and received another incorrect answer, we call3e this office at in the afternoon had some what of a hold time, then an agent got on the phone around 1:40 PM, unfortunately I did not get her name. However, the answers she provided us with were as we expected and she actually took the time to look up my information and provided us with the correct information.”

“Update: Changed my review from 1 Star to 4. Called and got a very helpful public servant this year. Thanks to the new people in the deeds department! Worst service in the state of Tennessee. I work for a surveyor and I call all over the state. I can get recorded documents from the smallest of small counties sent to me by email. This county will not even entertain the idea. When I call and ask for deeds and plats they just say, "Well you have to come pick them up!" they don't even try to direct you to the online site (that you have to pay to be apart of) They just say "no" can't help you! If you work in public service be prepared to help the public!”
