“We moved to Franklin, TN from out of state about a year and a half ago. To find a welcoming community, we looked for a compatible church. We quickly found that church at Good Shepherd. The congregation and clergy were welcoming and embracing from the start. Both my wife and I have been able to engage in multiple volunteer and "social" activities. We have already met friends for a lifetime and look forward to deepening our relationship with both the church and fellow parishioners over the coming years. If you want to see a sample of what goes on there, I highly recommend the "formation" event that occurs between the 8 AM and 10:15 AM services on Sunday. We haven't been that engaged in that many thoughtful discussions since college (and that was a LONG time ago).”

“If you are an out of town bride looking for a church wedding - this is your place! Renting the church requires two checks (deposit that will be returned to you and the actual payment.) payment is minuscule for the gorgeous venue you are receiving. You do not have to be a member. Call Mrs. Margaret to schedule a viewing to see the church. Be prepared to chat a while - she is an immigrant that married a soldier after WWII and followed him here. Her stories are fascinating and sweet. Assign an aunt, mom, or responsible family friend to pick up Mrs Margaret for rehearsal and ceremony. She was a delight to work with and gave us plenty of rehearsal time and time before ceremony for pictures. Room for x8 bridesmaids and bride to hide before ceremony. Church is bright white with minimalistic features. You are allowed to decorate but won't need much because the altar speaks for its self - no candles. The windows have fake candles in them. Small town feel with big city accommodations.”

“I never heard the sound so sweet as the greasy squeals of shod rubber leaves. Dancing on oily skin glass smooth pavement with dew's soft relief in morning glory. So sweet my lord that we shall meet in the silent black Sea where only tires need burn eternally.”

“A place of worship. It's open to the public where you can listen and learn about Bible based topics affecting us today. No collections are ever taken. Today I attended a wedding for a lovely couple beginning their life together according to the true living God Jehovah and thru His instructions. They have now created a threefold cord.”

“Second Otter Creek Unites Baptist Church is located on Kingstown road right near the Kentucky/Tennessee state line just a little ways from highway 27. I have never attended my regular church services here but I have been to a couple funerals that were held inside the church before burial in the Kingtown Cemetery that is located on the lot adjacent from the church. They have a nice shelter behind the church that they use for church events and family sometimes use for family reunions.”

“My experience with Tree of Life began when I lost my husband, Nathan. I took a tour of the facility, led by an exceptionally professional and informative guide (I wish I would have recorded the gentleman's name. I would . I had brainstormed a list of questions to ask, but found that simply through his unscripted description, they were quickly answered thoroughly. Nathan looked FANTASTIC. I could not have been happier (especially in such a tragic and emotional time). My interactions with the other staff members was exceptional. Down to EACH AND EVERY PERSON, I was treated with dignity, respect and compassion. The team took their jobs, and the ceremony, as any member of the family. I would recommend this funeral team to ANYONE who wants to lay their loved one to rest being supported and celebrated at every turn. Thank you, Tree of Life Funeral Directors. Nathan watched with pride.”
