We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rebekah was godsend. She and Lexi (doula in training) made our birth experience incredible. As a first-time mother, I was nervous and anxious about labor and delivery. I planned for a natural unmedicated birth, and although my birth plan did not go according to plan, there was never a time, were I was concerned or felt unsafe. Rebekah helped me stay calm and feel safe. Her skillset, knowledge and experience brought my husband and I so much peace. Throughout the entire birth Rebekah was a great aid to both my husband and me. She was sweet and caring, and made me feel so loved. She held my hand, massaged my legs and feet, fed me, pulled my hair back, applied a wet cloth on my forehead… I felt the love of a mother. I was stalled at 6 centimeters and baby was not in a favorable position, Rebekah helped the baby turn by suggesting different positions including the utilization of the rebozo. Thanks to her I was able to deliver my son vaginally and avoid a C section. Thank you, Rebekah, for your love and support. You made this day so special and unforgettable! I cannot recommend Blissful Birth enough.

I’m posting using my husband’s Google but this is Lexi Fernandez. ☺️ I took Rebekah’s doula training course in October and consider her my mentor and teacher at this point! From the beginning, her passion and love for all things related to birth has inspired me! She has energy, charisma, and is just plain fun!! She is knowledgeable and experienced. I just attended my first birth and used her tips and tricks, and helped my friend who was stalled at 6cm progress to 10cm in a short period of time!! Then Rebekah kindly offered to come and support me and help my friend at the last minute out of the kindness of her heart!! I’m SOOOOO glad she did! She helped ease my friend’s mind and educated her and her husband about the delivery and post delivery process. She helped at 10cm utilize rebozo and positioning to prepare my friend for a smoother delivery since baby’s head was tilted a little. She commanded the room, protected the birth space, advocated for what my friend wanted. 10/10 recommend her for either your teacher or your doula service.

I wish I could give extra stars! We went through Blissful Birthing to hire a sibling doula to watch our toddler (15 month) at home while we were at the hospital. Carolyn, the sibling doula, is just exceptional. I cannot express my gratitude that she kept my little man company during a difficult time. I had never left my son for more than an hour and was panicking about leaving him for a long stretch with a complete stranger. When Carolyn came for the home visit, all of my worries subsided as soon as I met her. She is warm, genuine, experienced, and listened to every little detail. Leading up to the birth, she was extremely communicative which helped put my mind at ease.
I was able to go into the hospital knowing that my son is in the most capable hands possible. If you need support at home with your other children while you go into labor, don’t look any further!!

I found Rebecca's website when I found out at 39 weeks that my daughter was breech and I was looking for possible ways to turn her. Our medical team wanted us to have a C-section and I wanted to try to give birth naturally. I sent her an email and she called me back by the end of the day. She spent 45 minutes listening to my story and encouraging me. I went from feeling helpless to feeling calm and empowered to make decisions. We scheduled an appointment to try and turn baby but I went into labor before our appointment. I successfully delivered my sweet little breech baby. I am grateful to Rebecca for taking the time to call me and for her encouragement to weigh the risks and make the decision that was best for me and my baby not what was most convenient for the medical team.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Rebekah and what she does! I was ABSOLUTELY terrified of labor, and had so many questions. Not only did she ease my mind, but she empowered me with knowledge, affirmations, and facts about my body so that I would walk into labor informed and confident.

She never made me feel like a nuisance by asking questions. She made me feel like she had time for me, and introduced me to several methods to easing my “labor pains” while at home, and also ways that help progress my labor that WORKED! It is very clear she is passionate about what she does.

The night before I went into labor, she called me and gave me a 40+ minute pep talk and helped me get my mind in the right place. For a laboring mama that is PRICELESS!!

I would recommend Rebekah over and over again, and will not go anywhere else but her for my next child. You will be in great hands with her.

Because of HER I was confident and delivered my baby naturally with a smile on my face!
