“Went to asukas to celebrate my youngest son's first communion. Opens at 4 and I suggest you get there then to sit at hibachi. They get really busy at 5/6 and the wait is long. The food was great and the atmosphere is jovial. My family and I enjoyed ourselves. They have a full bar. The restaurant has only 4 hibachi areas (2 grills each). We also had some rolls that were good as well. All in all a pleasant experience for 6 people to celebrate.”

I was able to get an appointment quickly because of a cancelation, however my partner experienced some similar problems as other reviewers with an appointment being made then rescheduled months in the future. Very hit or miss but I would suggest that people make an appointment no matter how far in the future and look out for cancelations. The actual patient service during the visit was excellent.”

“Talk about a hidden gem. I’m just gonna parrot what everyone says about the friendly owners and the atmosphere. We’re usually out and about on Saturday or Sunday afternoons and this has become a favorite stop. Having recently relocated to Mid TN this is exactly the type of place we look to frequent. Great coffee, great treats, and great conversation. The owners couldn’t be nicer. I personally recommend the blackberry mocha, aka Papa Byrd. For those who complain about the wait, we’ve never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes, usually well under that. If you drive by a food or drink establishment and there’s a line that should tell you something. If you want the green queen you can find that in Franklin. But if you’re in a hurry on Leiper’s Creek Rd you’ve got bigger problems. Looking forward to our next visit!”

“If you’re looking for an experienced, professional, knowledgeable electrician that shows up on time, Mr. Hyde is the answer to your prayers. We were having some issues in our master bedroom which we thought might be just another bad Apple cord. I replaced the cord. Still had an issue with it but then a lamp started flickering. One day, all the power in the room went off. It didn’t throw the breaker. Then all of a sudden, everything came back on by themselves!? I knew it was an electrical issue and I could not sleep at night thinking that we might have a house fire. So like a lot of people, we took to Google to “ fix it ourselves“. We tried to troubleshoot it ourselves thinking it was the TV or lamp that might be bad so we unplugged everything and plugged things back in. It seemed fine for a couple of days. But then the power went out again completely just in that room. Then it would all come back on in about 10 minutes. Finally, it kept flickering off and on every few minutes. (the whole room!) Then in the kitchen, switches were turning on lights that they weren’t supposed to turn on. They were on a different breaker than the master bedroom! It was like the house was possessed. Seriously, I was afraid to sleep in my house because I thought it would burst into flames. I needed an electrician who knew his stuff! I didn’t want our house burning down. I saw a few recommendations for Hyde’s electrical service on the Facebook group “I love Dandridge“. I gave him a call and he made an appointment for me the very next day. He was on time for the appointment and he figured out the problem in no time at all! To ease my concerns, he offered to checked several light switches, sockets and the electrical panel. And I’m glad he did because he found an issue with our heat pump setting off a breaker. Thank goodness our unit is covered by warranty and they will be out Thursday. His prices were so much more reasonable than the other electricians we have hired in the past! Hyde went above and beyond even after fixing the issue. He gave me peace of mind so I could sleep at night again. He truly is a treasure and if you’re looking for an experienced (22 years), knowledgeable, professional electrician that actually shows up, then Mr. Hyde is your man.
