“Recently we had the visitation and funeral service for my mother at Sellars Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Saying goodbye to a close friend or relative is never easy but Derek and Sebrina went out of their way to make things as simple and easy as possible. They made everything go smoothly, there were no high pressure sales techniques, and they treated us with nothing but respect and kindness. The facility itself is beautiful, the chapel where the service was held had light pouring in from elegant windows with a waterfall and koi pond just outside it. Everything was very well kept up, clean, and beautiful. I wish my mother could have seen it. Derek and Sebrina also worked to make us more comfortable about holding the service during this pandemic and did everything we asked to make sure all of the guests were comfortable as well. I have nothing but good things to say about Derek, Sebrina, and Sellars Funeral Home itself.”

“The service was good, servers were wearing masks and were polite. We ordered the popcorn chicken and tater tots for my son and I and the chicken tenders and fries for my granddaughter. The tots were good but the popcorn chicken was edible but nothing to write home about. My granddaughter's tenders must have been good because she ate them all but the fries were not all that great because I later ate the ones she didn't eat and I didn't like them that much either. So stick with the tater tots and you won't go wrong!”

“Forest Hill East ; Ms Helen Ponder was excellent as the funeral director. Everyone was extremely friendly and compassionate. They offered the minor things to make our family more comfortable and were very kind. I received my husbands death certificates within 2 weeks and they promptly notified me. They worked very well with our minister. My only hesitation in giving them 5 stars was the time it took to get his lettering placed on our mausoleum crypt. It took 6 months and I had to make several calls, but it was completed. This was a prearranged service and I was overall very pleased.”
