Well the owner Nick ordered me a whole case and the next time I was in he sold it to me for the price he paid.. Wholesale!!! Also I have been going to this store since I was 15 and I'm 33 so that should say it all. I have been out of gas and didn't have enough money to get to my job in Memphis about 25 miles away. Nick actually let me fill my tank up and then bring him the money after I got paid. They are amazing and friendly.. Definitely my favorite place to get gas or beer or smokes.”

“Built in 1949 and originally serving as a Post Office, the Historic Southside Market, LLC is located just beyond Clarksville in Southside. Though the market has served as multiple businesses throughout the years, from pool hall to general store, it has always been a staple of the Southside community, with the front porch serving as a great place for community conversations. The building was built from cinder blocks, (before that was a typical thing) and rough cut cedar, no milled 2x4’s. These days, you can still stop in for those everyday convenience items, and grab breakfast, lunch or an early dinner. Realtor Wendi Potter and her parents, Del and Cindy Green, purchased the market in 2020 and brought new life to it. Del and Cindy live in Southside while Wendi lives in Cunningham with her family. They truly love their community and the support they receive from them. As for the food, we grabbed two hot and fresh pizzas while there as well as a buffalo chicken sandwich, which was perfectly seasoned and actually one of the best we’ve had. We also enjoyed a tasty Philly cheesesteak! People come from miles around to enjoy their affordable breakfast options, cheeseburgers, pizza, wings, and Phillies. We are going to have to make a trip back for breakfast and that chocolate cake! Baked by Del, you can get a huge slice equal to 1/6th of the cake for just $3.50! You’re welcome to pull up a seat inside, or eat at the picnic tables outside, or join the conversation on the Liars bench on the porch. The bench is almost as old as the building itself and gets it’s name from some of the tales spun over the years. They’ve recently added the Truth Tellers Pew on the other side of the porch if you wouldn’t want to be caught telling a lie. 😉 Warm weather brings a Farmer’s Market, hosted the first Saturday of every month from 8am-noon. Definitely head over and give them a follow on their socials to stay up to date on events and those tasty desserts! When you do take that scenic drive out to visit, be sure to let them know that LOCAL sent ya!”

“We visited the Bangkok Market in Nashville, TN. We went in and were impressed with the decor which was more tasteful than you would expect from an Asian food store. The selection was excellent with, it seems, anything and everything one could want. I am not Asian but my wife is. Frankly, I didn't know what most of the items were but I could tell that you could find just about anything you need. There was a room that had plenty of fresh veggies and freezers full of frozen fish and other meats like "chicken paws"...Yumm! You could also buy nik-naks like Buddhas and elephants. Even the bathrooms were spotless and classy with granite countertops and marble floors. The staff was friendly and even stayed past closing for us to finish up our shopping. I would certainly encourage anyone looking to shop for Asian food to stop by for a visit.”

“I had an issue with not knowing where my underhood light was that I had ordered a week prior. It had showed up last night after I had left a comment on the tiktok video I had seen the product on stating that I was disgruntled about the situation. This morning I personally got a call from Matt Sledge, the owner himself, making sure I get my stuff and if I haven't, he was personally going to make it right. I spent 25 minutes on the phone this morning talking with him and saying my product came and explained my frustrations at first of not having the tracking information so I didn't know what was going on with it. After knowing the issue was resolved, we had a good talk like old friends. It's nice to have someone who will interact with their customers on a personal level to make sure everyone is treated right and fairly and if something is wrong, they will do their best to make it right. “If there was an option for 10 stars, I’d give it. My family is visiting on vacation and the tire on my dads wheelchair blew. We called about 15 bike shops, medical supply stores, sport stores, etc. Everyone was very kind but most weren’t super helpful (it’s a weird situation so we understand), and we weren’t sure what to do next because my dad can’t get around without his wheelchair. Mel, the owner, spent the time to find an out-of-the-box solution, fix/replace the tires, and even did a little tune up on the wheelchair. Mel and his wife were so kind and were such life-savers today. The trip we’re on is very sentimental to our family and without Mel, we wouldn’t have been able to finish it out. I wish there was more we could say besides thank you, but hopefully this review helps in some small way.”

“All the negative reviews for this place made me hesitant, but I am really glad I decided to go for myself and see. I have no idea what these people are talking about, seriously. Of course, everyone’s experiences are different but I have a feeling some of these reviews are unjustified. I got there and all the workers were so friendly and professional - all seemed to be working and being productive. I dropped off a huge suitcase of clothes as well as a couple other items and they told me 15 minutes so I just waited in my car then went back in and it was ready and I got over 25 bucks for a handful of items. The young girl helping me was so friendly and patient and even complimented my glasses - we had a pleasantly short conversation. While I can’t speak on other’s bad experiences with staff, perhaps people are angry they’re not getting offered what they think their clothes are worth and taking it out in the reviews, but people must understand the resell value of any item goes down tremendously after the initial purchase - designer and especially fast fashion which are majority of the brands people own. You will never get close to the full price you paid for an item unless you have a buyer who is desperate for said item or being manipulated.. If you want to get the closest to original price, you’d be better off trying to list your stuff on the many different resell sites out there and maybe a gullible fish will bite. Also, consider what you are trying to sell and if it’s in season or wanted by that retailer at the moment instead of expecting them to pay you a lot of money for all your unwanted clothes blindly.”
