“My husband and I are from Austin and are visiting Rockport for our vacation. It's really beautiful and so is this hotel. We are staying in the King Suite. It's really spacious and extremely clean. The bed and the pillows and sheets/comforter are so soft and comfortable. We have a great view of the bay. And the price is reasonable too. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They have a complimentary free breakfast and it's pretty good. We are having a great time and are planning to spend our next vacation here too. And all this is pretty amazing considering all of Rockport had suffered severe damage from the hurricane a few years ago. Very very enjoyable!!”

“There can be site flooding if there is a lot of rain. We haven't had any this year. Only certain sites flood, mine never has. Very well kept, safe, fairly quiet, helpful neighbors. Management is very helpful and keeps the grounds, pools, clubhouse, etc clean and safe. Large group of permanent residents whose RV is here and they aren't. We all know who they are and keep an eye out. Good place to live long term.”

“Ate three donuts and one croissant sandwich with an orange juice and still felt hungry. I am a fairly petite person that fills up on a pack of 4 out of 6 mini donuts from the gas station. The food was far too light and delicious. I think they are meant for a dessert because these are dangerous to eat on an empty stomach. Was going to gift the other half of the dozen to friends and neighbors but I might end up keeping them for a late night snack. :p Now that I discovered this place I'll probably be gaining some weight and having to brush my sugar stained teeth a little more. Worth it and uber pleased.”

“My elderly neighbor called me the other day as she had some visitors from out of town that had car issues. I recommended CAR to them. I am so pleased with the text I received from them after the car was fixed. This is what the text to me said, "Thank you for helping my friends. They were very impressed with the auto repair place (CAR). It wasn't the alternator and they fixed the problem. She was so excited for their honesty and being kind to her". End of quote! Through any emergency, they are sure to check on their people, make sure they can do whatever necessary to keep things going and to have smiling faces help out is a true blessing!! “This is our second stay here and once again, it surpasses our expectations. On our first visit, we had problems getting to the coast. We called to let them know that we were going to be late. It was not a problem at all and someone was at the gate when we arrived around 9:30 pm to help us get situated. And thank goodness because that was our first trip with our first RV! We had such a great time, we decided to come back. We really appreciate all the extra things they do for their campers, like having a Peloton in the workout room. We have one at home so it was awesome to have one available while on vacation. In the club house, there is a fully stocked kitchen for their guests to use. We have used it twice now to cook big meals for our family. It is really nice to not have to do that in the RV. Any time we have needed something, there is always someone around to help us out. We love it here and we plan on coming back every year!”

He was thorough and explained everything he was doing during my Aquahot 400 annual maintenance. His pricing was very fair, and I would highly recommend him.”

“Highly recommend this place for a quiet, relaxing RV getaway. We booked a reservation at another nearby RV park, but when we got there, the spaces were all tightly packed together, kids were running and yelling everywhere, just pure chaos. We immediately went out looking for a peaceful vacation destination, found Estes and it was perfect! We came back for a second stay a couple of months later, and will be back again soon.”

“I enjoy visiting this establishment but the only drawback is the lack of ventilation. The smoke just hangs in the air and gets to be too much for me. I understand it is hard to keep the smell out but they really need to do something better to move and clean the air. The last couple times I walked in my eyes watered and it was hard to breathe even with a mask on. If it wasn't for the smoke being so bad, I would visit more often and stay longer when I do go in.”

“We LOVED our time at The Copa Copa! We stayed for 2 weeks in early January. Most days, the weather was perfect and the sunsets were awesome! There is a lot to see and do in the area, and wonderful restaurants in Rockport.The campsite is beautifully landscaped and has a long concrete parking pad. But the greatest thing about this campsite is the owners, Karen and Dennis. They go out of their way to accommodate the needs of the guests. We are already planning our return visit!”

“We ate at Shempy's on March 2, 2021. The food was excellent as always. The service was fantastic. I didn't get our waitress name but she was the hardest working waitress I have ever seen. She was the only one there besides the cook and the place was packed. Every table was taken and every seat was filled. She never missed a beat, every order was correct and served with a great attitude. In between waiting on tables she also answered the phone taking call in orders, bussed all the tables, and did some bookkeeping as well. I was worn out just watching her. She had to have been exhausted at the end of her shift. Even more reason to eat at Shempy's.”
