“The Texas Reptile Zoo is a hidden gem in Bastrop! The facility is family owned and operated. The owners are very friendly, informative and engaged with their guests. I was especially impressed by the high level of animal activity in each exhibit!! (There were not any sleepy, hidden animals to be found there! Fantastic!) It was interesting to see that every habitat was hand crafted to replicate the natural enviornment that each particular animal thrives in, contributing to animal activeness. The zoo is in it's first few years of operation and it is really neat to see the creative renovations the owners have been making onsite. I am looking forward to bringing my family back over the years to watch this zoo continue to expand and grow!”

“The best Walgreens in Bastrop. This location is more organized and stocked compared to the one by Taco Bell. They can be lacking on available associates some days but they are always friendly and helpful. Their photo center is very quick at getting orders done.”

“*****THEY DO NOT PUT PRICES ON THEIR FRAMES.******* I went there to shop for kids and adult frames with eye med insurance. Men’s and women’s frames are all mixed up which is so annoying. They do NOT put prices on any of the frames. This should tell you everything you need to know and how to go about what’s best for your budget. They were really friendly and helpful but this is something that definitely altered my buying power as a consumer. A huge waste of time as well. We won’t be returning based on seller’s huge mark up on frames and lenses after insurance coverage. So they charge almost double cash price for the same frames etc. that you can get at other places like Walmart and Target. So if price isn’t a factor, I recommend this place. Also, they close for lunch but it’s not advertised anywhere so we had to come back. Technically I was disappointed twice in one day. 😅”

“We had a great time staying at The Reserve. The room was nice with a view of the sky from the bed. Their hiking trail was great. The owners/hosts were really friendly too. Lots of outdoor activities nearby too. We enjoyed kayaking at the lake. Exploring downtown Bastrop was also fun. Check out the museum and good food in town.”

“Second time using Parobek, this time for the downstairs unit. It had gone into safety lockout and would not come on. Called Parobek and they had someone out to our place ASAP. Jarrett showed up and quickly diagnosed the high pressure lockout. Upon inspection, he found the coils almost completely clogged with dust and accumulation. For a very fair price, Jarrett cleaned out the coils and returned the unit to as-new operation. Jarrett also verified no other issues with the unit. Blowing snowballs downstairs now. Jarrett was super professional and knowledgeable. He even returned our hose and sprinkler back to where it was. Details like that stand out to me. Parobek cares and takes care of business.
