Enjoyable place for a leisurely walk with kids! Easy to traverse paths, wildflowers and a ton of butterflies! The kids went from "do we have to" to "lets go down this road"! My only suggestion as a lover of native areas is to try to remove some of the invasive plants before they take over. Thanks for converting this to a great nature trail!
Birder's paradise! This place is pretty cool. I've spent hours here chasing birds to shoot... with my camera. Have gotten some interesting pics, but after I was done with that, I went fishing in the creek and caught me some bass! There are deer who wander around and there's even a bird blind where they occasionally feed the birds. Bring your own bird seed just in case and I'm sure you'll see some interesting sights! There are several kinds of birds of prey around as well.
I would highly recommend this park to anyone wanting to see some wildlife and enjoy time outside. Perfect use of an area that was condemned due to constant flooding.
Serene views of the Creek & Pecan Trees. Great place to "take 5" & "get back to nature". Take a bike ride, walk the dog, lounge on the lawn's, play hide n seek with the Kiddo's &/or picnic with your loved one... Whatever you choose its a great place to "unplug".
We found this little jewel recently, what a great place for an easy mile+ walk on wide gravel trails, huge oak trees, wild flowers and so many butterflies. You can also walk down to Cibolo Creek. This is a great park for bird watching too..!!!
This is a beautiful park! It's very quiet and relaxing. Great for pics with your family, a picnic, or a walk with your dog. It was my first time to come here and I really enjoyed it. I went on a Saturday and I will definitely come back again. They could use more parking up at the entrance, but other than that its a great park.
