“This is the least crowded of the Greenway Trails. On a cool Friday morning in November, I saw more wild turkeys than people. I don't ride this trail very often, but I always hope to see work being done on the Medina River and Leon Creek crossings. This is about all that is left of Phase 3 of the project. This will connect the trail to the Pleasanton Rd Trailhead. When the section from Matrix Park to Mission Espada, this will one of the longest stretches of trail in the city.”

“Fantastic hidden gem. Easy trails. Great, lush, scenery. The views of the river are amazing, as well. Only issue I’ve had is people not respecting the leash law! Keep your pets leashed!”

“This is the wildest and most challenging Greenway in San Antonio. Continuing construction due to mother nature but it's still a great park.”

“The park was amazing! Full of life and nature, the caution signs about the poison ivy and snakes are in good taste. However, a clear distinction of direction needs to addressed. I followed the map from the beginning and somehow ended up in the complete opposite of the park. If that get fixed then the rating would have been perfect.”

“Fully paved, no lake access- there's a tall fence. Beautiful place, quiet. One pokestop at the trailhead. There is also a toilet. We saw some bones behind some benches. The sunset was very nice.”

“I went to the garden early morning around 06:30 am and there was no one there. I took time and walked around praying and yes this is the best place to spend your alone time with God. The structures ( Western or wailing wall, replica of the sea of Galilee, the Menira and the benches arranged to form the Menorah, the Star of David....make it more real and truly you feel the presence of God. I love this place and I give it 10 stars :) It has become my weekly routine to go and spend time with my Father????❤ God bless you Christian Life Church for making this Garden open to public plus it's so well maintained and grass so beautifully manicured. May God bless you all abundantly.”

“The Audubon center had great birding and hiking trails. This site is open to the public and provides a great birding experience for a low cost. They provide bird guides available complete with pictures to allow for easy identification for even the most novice of birders.”

“I grew up playing up and down inside out all of these Franciscan Missions with the peacocks... they are no longer here they are bred behind San Jose mission! Mission concepcion was torn apart and what is left now is just an open field... a very sad field.”

“Neat little place to explore. We lived in four years before we found Mission Espada and we found it on a bike trip down the San Antonio River walk. I would recommend exploring the missions on a bike trip along the river as there is not too much to see at each of the missions”

“Nice park with good tree shade. Shade was needed due to the heat but I think small trees or branches had recently been because as we sat by the tree trunk they would poke into you. But overall a nice place to stroll through with family.”
