“Very nice park for walking and jogging. We actually found some off road trails for our mountain bikes on the other side of the highway. The trails are a bit narrow, but fun.”

“really good small trail system. ~4 miles of rocky singletrack w/ jeep roads, several very technical sections. Trailhead parking lot very small. Also can connect to McAllister Park w/ short sidewalk route then navigate south a couple miles down to Thousand Oaks Rd. by ditch underpass.”

“Really nice course. Well kept and a pleasant hike. Most of the course is well shaded, so it's great for summer months.”

“This park, while somewhat small, is a very reasonable park for the surrounding neighborhood. It is generally quiet, but can often times be found being used for kids sport events. The pond, when full in the spring, is definitely a great view with the bird and turtle activity it attracts.”

“For the little space it has, it's very scenic and it has a good quiet environment. The views of walking through is nice and it's calming to walk or to get a good workout. It's very diverse in the paths and it'll tell you which is good for handicap, people new to hiking, or people that needs that extra push over. There's a bench that you can sit on and have a good view of the nearby city.”

“The outdoor classroom in Comanche Lookout is well designed and beautifully located. With the huge hewn boulders for seating, the covered pavilion has a degree of permanence. The Park & Boy/Cub Scout troops do a good job of maintaining the vegetation around classrooom & facilities. In all the four years walking in the park, I have never seen any classes in session nor any group using the facility. The Julia Yates Semmes Library is in charge of managing the use of Classroom. Observed several in facility who were either planning day's activity, reading, listening to music, mediating, relaxing, or sleeping overnight. It is a nice place to stop before or after walking on the Library Circle or Loop.”

Address: 15015 Heimer Rd, San Antonio, TX 78232, USA
“Great park for the little ones. Our toddlers love the play area and since it's not a huge park we can let them roam a little bit more. Its normally not too busy and has a couple of picnic tables if you want to pack a lunch. Tennis, basketball and baseball areas are also close at hand and open to the public. Only recommendation, travel with toilet paper if you plan on using the porter potty.”

“This is a neighborhood supported playground type park. It's a nice place to walk around a little bit. It's not very well developed.”

“This is a great place to walk your dog. It's basically just dry creek bottom except when it rains hard. There are no facilities. No playground. Those swimming pool. No golf course. Just a place to walk.”

“This is a lovely & convinient place to begin a stroll or run. There are restrooms, a water fountain, a covered picnic area, and a playground.”
Address: 13102 Jones Maltsberger Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247, USA
“The pavilion was clean and had adequate space for a large gathering . The restrooms were close and there was enough space to hold extracurricular activities as well ! I'd recommend it for anyone wishing to hold a birthday party or large family gathering. The only downside was the size of the grill was very small for the size of the pavilion.”

“Great party venue or just a quiet place to relax and rest from your ride”
Address: 13102 Jones Maltsberger Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247, USA
“Great place with trails and fields spread out so people aren't on top of each other. Saw lots of wildlife in woods. Most bike/jog/walk trails are shady. Facilities are clean and portable toilet available at fields where no permanent facility is built. Lots of water fountains as well, large dog park is mulched with benches. Small dog area is small and looks like afterthought.”
