“Spanish Schoolhouse has been a part of our family since we moved to Texas in 2018. My children learned lots of Spanish and were so loved throughout the years. “Last year was my girls' (2 and 4) first year to attend Kid Care and we LOVED IT!! It was such a warm and inviting atmosphere, which is what we were needing after some experiences at our previous MDO. “Best high school in Texas with the biggest band, best football team, and most expensive stadium. Students at this school have access to the best of everything, including education. They just need to take the initiative to take advantage of it. The only criticism I have is that it's almost impossible for unambitious students to fail in on-level (not AP/IB) classes. It takes an active effort to get less than an A, especially in History.”

“Our two daughters love Small Miracles Academy! Our four year old loves to share what she learns everyday- she learns new songs, months of the year, days of the week, new letters and numbers, and she even learned how to spell her name. Our 18 month old learns a new word every day- she can even identify and repeat colors. Both girls love the staff and are excited to go see their teachers and friends each day. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive to all of our needs and concerns. They seem genuinely happy to see our daughters every morning. I feel calm and confident leaving my girls in their care each day.”

The administration and staff are caring, competent, and accommodating. I went to school at Rountree, attended meetings here as a Boy Scout, worked in technology for AISD here, and now my son attends school here. Rountree is a great place for kids to learn and make happy memories...”

“There are not enough stars for me to give The Helm - they have been amazing from the day our family started with them and I can't thank them enough. We had done ABA therapy for a couple years prior to moving out to Texas with limited results, but our son has made so much progress and mastered so many goals over the last year that he's no longer in a special needs classroom in school and his teachers are recommending him for the Gifted and Talented program. “We LOVE being REED OWLS! We feel lucky.... As a parent and PTA Board member, I'm up at the school for various reasons. I see the staff and am amazed with their ability to make EVERY student feel special and cared about. Miss. Julie greets each of them with a smile and a kind word. What a great way to start the day. The students then go to their teachers who are prepared to fill their day with education sprinkled with encouragement. The specials teachers are the best is Allen! Their principles Mrs Miller and Dr.Ivy see to it that the school is a SAFE place to be. They are so positive and that is transferred to the students. They find the children's strength and build on that. Never do they dwell on negativity! The staff as a whole, offer so many opportunities for your child to standout and when they do, That child is recognized which leads them to wanting to be the best they can be and that begins a domino effect. What's better then setting a positive example? Our school is clean because of our amazing custodians. Our lunches are hot and prepared with love. Our safety drills are efficient. I know when I drop my son off, he is going to be safe and he is going to have a GREAT day! That helps me to go to work without worry and to have a GREAT day too😊 I'm honored to be one of the MANY wonderful parents of Reed Elementary. “My daughter attended this school from 13 months old to almost 9 years old and our experience could not have been better. I must admit that the main reason we initially chose the school was because of proximity to home and ability to pick up late (by 6 pm), but we stayed so long because the teachers and staff are amazing. I honestly didn’t know anything about Montessori vs traditional school, but came to realize that my daughter is made for hands-on learning. Let’s start from the beginning: I give most of the potty training credit to her toddler classroom teachers. She has multiple food allergies, so being able to pack a lunch and have them heat it up was a plus. They took her allergies very seriously and understood that it is a serious medical condition, not a dietary or lifestyle preference. Early on, I noticed that all of the older kids in the school were such excellent speakers. When she started reading at such an early age and doing oral presentations, I appreciated that this school trains these kids to have a voice and learn the skills to engage your audience. They do journal work everyday. Whenever she would bring a completed journal home I would read it… it was always filled with poetry and sketches. Her teachers helped feed her passion for art and encouraged her creativity. She did voice, piano, dance, soccer, basketball, chess, and gymnastics through the school as well. I’m so glad she was able to spend so many years at The Montessori School at StarCreek.”

“My 10 year old left his wet swim clothes in class overnight after a field trip. He's in that awkward stage where it's hard to find clothes that fit so he only has the one set. I called this morning to confirm they were there and had planned on picking them up to wash them before his swim lessons tonight. The director was able to find them and offered to wash them for me! Talk about going above and beyond- I am just WOWed at how much love and care the staff shows not only to my children but also to myself. Washing swim clothes may seem like a small gesture but for me it is one of the nicest gifts I have had in a long time. The staff knows that my life is full of activity and stress. They just saved 2 hours of my day! It's the little things like this that set this school apart. They show kindness and love to parents that aren't in the classroom, imagine how much they show to the children who are- I know that my children are in a safe loving place when I have to be at work and that is priceless. I highly recommend setting up a tour so you can see for yourself how much you and your children will be loved and will come to love this school.”
