Nice and green and shaded spot for a picnic or an excursion.
It could have been a lot more beautiful with more water on the creek.
Yes still, shallow water means kids could come with their nets and try to catch fish.
And walk on rocks in the creek easily.
Fun to watch.
My first time visiting this place today and I loved it! Better than the parks where I live. I may need to move to Richardson. I also met some nice helpful folks on the trail. Lots of fishing spots and a tranquil waterfall that tends to make you want to sit for a spell and relax. Very well worth walking the trail or riding your bike!
This park is beautiful and wonderful and I had a lovely time here, but there were people in the water even though there was a sign that said “no wading” and it is hard to get a photo with the waterfall that doesn’t have people in the background. There are many squirrels and turtles as well as some wildflowers. It is a nice place to enjoy nature, take a walk, unwind, and rejuvenate!
Beautiful park! So far it's been the most beautiful park I've been to in DFW because of its beauty, you can be sure you'll find people taking pictures, sometimes there's a line. What I've found though is, from whatever angle, the pictures turn out nice.
I love this place! It's amazing for anything! Family stuff or just to hang out! If your looking for somewhere to fish, this definitely the place. (i would like to warn you though, there are lots of turtles!)
