“very informative, FREE yet small museum for children & parents to be in awe of the dinosaurs that roamed what is now our great state! i learned that most of texas was under the ocean so that’s why we have lots of seashells on dry land. fascinating stuff. then the short walking tour outside to see the tracks on limestone was fun too. would definitely recommend a quick 30 minute tour of the premises”

“Original one room stone schoolhouse hand built by German settlers in the mid 1800's to school their children. Located on its original plot on a hill overlooking the hill country. Used until the 1950s when the local school districts expanded and consolidated the country schools.”

“The caverns were cool, and it was a good tour. I do think they need to emphasize the steep climb, as there were many people on our tour who were struggling, little kids also had a tough time, many children were carried. I think kids under the age of 4 or 5 have a tough time with the tour. All in all, the caverns are impressive. My 5 stars is for the caverns, not the theme park feel outside the caverns.”
