(December 13, 2018, 11:31 pm)Hello fly boys and girls!! Well has it been a while since you been out to the city farest north of Texas known as Medal of Honor Host City...You Haven't! Well your missing out on the City known for it's Patriotism too!! That's right Gainesville, Texas! This is the best kept secret that your friends will soon tell you about. So you like to fly huh...well we just updated our facility and modernized it so much that once you get there you have all the comforts of home but better. This facility has gone through the paces and we are aiming at coming out on top. With local events, zoo, antiques shops, local farmers market and many places to eat such as Edelweiss, Sarah's on the Square, Mendez Bakery just to name a few. Many other local fast food favorites Whataburger, Panda Express, Taco Casa, Wendy's, McDonald's and as Starbuck's!! Come on out enjoy the Gainesville Municipal Airport, grab as bite and sit a spell. Feel the need for a good time and a little gambling we are located just a few minutes south of Winstar Casino known as The Biggest Casino in the World! Now getcha some of that! Come see what you have been missin' today!
(October 10, 2018, 11:24 pm)Wonderful well kept airport. Runways are a little rough, but very well lit at night and well manicured. The fuel station has easy access for self serve and they have all the equipment needed and well lit and the prices were great. The FBO is under construction, but is really nice and going to be beautiful. The bathrooms are very clean and beautiful. They have a great place to rest, watch TV and get refreshments etc. They also are so nice and professional when I called. They have two courtesy cars for your use. You can access the FBO after hours and we ran into a couple local people there and they were very helpful. We will definitely be flying here again and would highly recommend. They also have great places to eat within a short driving distance. This is a great place to stop in.
