“Wanted to share the experience I had with Ed when commissioning my first custom build. To sum it up, it was fun, and a few months later I am still loving the guitar. For some background, I am relatively new to the area and happened upon Ed's shop when looking for local music stores as I prefer to buy local. I initially purchased an amp and then had him repair one of my guitars and was very pleased with how that all went. The amp was factory fresh, and the repair was something very simple, and he did not even charge me for that. It was during these transactions that I visited Ed's shop, which is very cozy yet chock full of cool gear. Specifically a large number of very unique guitars, for which Ed appears to be the exclusive US rep. These guitars feel, sound and look great and I had a desire to expand my collection, so I worked with Ed on a custom build. Ed was engaging, communicative and a joy to work with. I specified every aspect of the guitar you see here, including a color/finish that was new to Ed, yet he figured out a way to make it happen. The guitar is of top quality in every way, provides something very unique yet plays and sounds absolutely amazing. I currently use it every Sunday in the worship arts ministry I lead and enjoy it every time I pick it up and plug it in. So, in summary, go see Ed! He's a great guy with a fun personality and he brings back an increasingly rare way of doing business person to person, face to face. He does great work and stands by his work.
