“I love my guitar lessons. It's the best part of my week. I'm learning songs I actually like ...I could say more good things, but I'd like to get back to playing my guitar...;)”

“One of the best studios in DFW for small to medium group classes and especially private lessons. Therapeutic and individualized practice is emphasized here. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and compassionate. Classes are held without loud music or gimmicks of any sort. This is a place to study yoga and personal transformation rather than simply go through the motions and get sweaty. Highly recommended!”

“I’ve taken several Thai Bodywork workshops with David & Misty, very informative and a great addition to my practice. Misty makes beautiful jewelry, I’ve purchased several pieces for myself as well as others and they’re always loved by everyone. I really enjoy the new addition of online classes and workshops, making their work accessible to those outside of DFW and staying connected as students travel. Their setup is so professional and the audio and video quality is top notch!”

“What a treasure Northaven Co-op has been to our children and our family. The school has amazing teachers who inspire children to explore, create and discover through hands on learning experiences. The bright and large classrooms are filled with sensory tables, manipulatives, art-play tools, and other sensory rich materials that get children involved in problem solving and parallel play. We have enjoyed the unique opportunity of co-oping in our children's classrooms. It has been incredibly rewarding to get to be involved and know what a typical school day is like through our children's eyes. Through co-oping, we've also gotten to know the other children and families very well which creates a nice community to be a part of. We feel so fortunate to have found Northaven. My oldest, who is now a first grader, still talks about the Co-op and looks forward to going back every summer for the art camps that are offered. Northaven Co-op is a rare and precious gem of a school. There's truly nothing else like it.”

“Dedicated intelligent and remarkable teachers, each of whim has a broad, open cultural view of the world. When you leave your child in the care of a school you need full confidence that the social and emotional environment is warm, safe, and well structured. This school provides that. The languages and academic excellence are almost a given. Yes, he reads in three languages. Yes, he understands the historical relevance of ancient civilizations. Yes, he writes code in Scratch. All good private schools do this. But the joy my child shows in the morning heading to school, and the babble of exciting new ideas and conversations with interesting friends when I pick him up- the hugs from the teacher and tears at the end of the school year- these are the stories that show the great values of this school. In spite of the high academic ranking there is a strong focus on the whole child and careful limits on homework quantity. Time for living. Well judged. (Btw- I see a false report or two here. A supposed teacher writes of focus on star tests? There is no Star testing in this school. It’s an IB school. I think it’s a fake review!)”

“I highly recommend Alcuin School. They have Montessori for lower grades to International Baccalaureate in high school. it is just an excellent combination. I also have to mention the sense of community that is very open and welcoming. My child started here 8 years ago and he has grown to be a focused, socially aware young man, who enjoys going to school. Alcuin School is a big factor in his development.”

“Our kids take guitar and ukulele lessons with Jackson Eli at the school and he has been great! They have really enjoyed learning their instruments and are getting better every week. Jackson has a nice balance of making it fun for them but also taking it seriously such that they practice and improve. Highly recommended!”

“Birthday Party Success. My son recently celebrated his birthday at KGC and it was perfect! My son and all of his friends had such a wonderful time. My favorite part is how easy they made it for my husband and I. We simply shared the desired theme and other details that were important to us and the rest was taken care of! We simply walked into the party and were able to enjoy. The owner, Leeat, is incredibly accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend hosting your child's birthday party here - you will not be disappointed!”

“Our family loves this school, administration and the caregivers. It is clean, loving and a great environment for young children. The 9 am-3 pm is wonderful. It gets the ready for all day school. You have the option to have your child nap there or not. My child comes home happy and excited about the next day. We have been going to CCDS since my son was 9 months old because I needed one day to myself. It was glorious because they followed my schedule. Being a new mom, that was comforting. The caregiver/ teachers have been there for many years and are wonderful. My son, Ben Hunter is 3 and is now being taught potty training by Miss Veda. It is a huge help to us at home. It takes a village to raise children and Claire's Christian Day School is a great place to call our village away from home! 1m ago”
