“Big open space...Great AC & ceiling fans on maximum speed... (in other words I was actually chilly) But better to be cool than hot in the middle of August in Texas. Love the decor and chairs and booths as well as the salad/veggie/condiment Bar. Great choices of meats and sides. Our sweet potatoes were under cooked but we loved their large cut fries (cheese fries look amazing too). And the Mac n Cheese was also very good. We had a family BOARD of meats. Opted to have turkey instead of the sausage. And we are so glad we did. The Turkey is AMAZING! Our first time here and we will definitely return!”

The peanut sauce is a little watered down than expected losing it's taste. Interesting spices, not very hot but definitely not bland. Liked the dishes. The sandwich as an appetizer is tasty but might taste better with some kind of curry or spices to it.”

“I was in between meetings and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat. Boomer Jack's was convenient and nearby. The design of the restaurant is rustic but not overwhelmingly so. The patio at this location is huge! They have a 16 person fire pit in the middle and an outdoor stage. We had a beautiful day so I sat on the patio, really nice and enjoyable, but perhaps the music was a bit high. I did bring my book to read but there's no way I could have concentrated. I had a nice view of the fountains across the street as well. There were a ton of TV screens inside, that would have really bothered me if I was dining inside. I ordered the salmon with grilled vegetables and a side salad. Pretty tasty, could have done with a few more roasted veggies, though. They both came out together, I would have enjoyed the salad beforehand, but not a big deal. The bathroom is very stylish with large hexagon tiles on the floor and walls and wood ceiling, trough style sink. My server was really friendly and had excellent follow-up! She even brought me some Mardi gras beads! The manager came over and took the time to follow up and answer questions on live music. Great customer service at this location. I'm sure this is a really fun location during the weekend, I will certainly be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Honestly, I’ve been alive for over three decades on this planet and today I had the best burger I’ve ever had. The beef was succulent, melted in your mouth. Perfectly seasoned. I got a double with cheese, added an egg, bacon, and spicy Mayo. You know you’re eating something good when halfway through the meal you start to get sad because you know soon it will be gone, so you start to eat slower to savor it more. This was that meal. Everyone we encountered was friendly and accommodating. The music kept us on the dance floor. The food was ok. The oxtails were a bit tough and the rice and peas overcooked. The plantains though… they were delicious! The great service, location, vibe and music was all we needed to end a beautiful day! They are located on Stemmons service road with easy access on and off.
