“Most people here are regulars and have been for years. So many people that come here are friendly, warm and inviting. The park is small, so it's not intimidating to make a circuit around. I can go around 2-3 times and not feel lost or overwhelmed. Great to come in the mornings around 7-9am. Resident ducks and geese make it quite the interesting experience though. They leave you alone usually, but every once in a while, they have their bad days too. Everything is a case to case, day to day basis. Just have to come and see for yourself to find out!”

“The guided tour provided so many details of the family history, along with the early days of the city. They were very patient with our grandchildren, and answered ALL of their questions (and questions my husband and I had). In addition to touring the main house, which is beautiful, we walked the property on a nature trail which had so many other structures (old barn, chicken coupes, stables, a log cabin, etc.). They also showed the kids some things that the kids in that time would have done, including teaching them how to play jacks. The kids loved it! It was a great experience for all of us, and I highly recommend it!”

“Very clean and nice accessible park. Great place for walking, jogging, and picnicking. Sometimes, there are ducks around the small pond. It is busy in the area during the week when school is letting out, so plan your visit early mornings, evenings, or weekends. You really should check it out soon!”

“One of the most beautiful well-kept parks I've ever seen . If you want to walk there's a walking trail, if you want to sit there places to sit and just look at the ducks in the water, there's a place for the children to play . you can fish , the people have been so friendly in the park , you can walk your dog there with no problem. I absolutely love Valley Creek Park. It's one of my favorite things in Mesquite Texas”
