“Their sandwiches are decent. Ba Le was around long before any of the other banh mi places opened up. I actually prefer the banh mi thit nguoi here over the thit nguoi at Quoc Bao. The meats are just more flavorful and tasty. Whenever I go here, I opt for a banh mi thit nguoi with a small nuoc mia. Ba Le has THE BEST nuoc mia (sugarcane drink). I have yet to find a place in the DFW area with better nuoc mia than Ba Le. If only there wasn't so much ice in the cup. Their cha lua (vietnamese ham) is pretty good too. It makes for pretty good sandwich meat. They are the OG banh mi and cha lua makers in Garland. They're no longer our favorite cha lua place but they are good at what they do. WARNING: CASH ONLY!”

“I ordered my son's Paw Patrol birthday cake with a cookie decoration, from another bakery over a month before we needed it. When I found out they were not going to be able to deliver the cake as promised, I started reaching out to local bakers. Kendra graciously came to the rescue and delivered a candy-coated, fun, and delicious cake that was over and above what I requested. As a mom she understood what this cake meant to me. The price was more than fair, and she was simply great to work with. I cannot recommend Sweet Murphy's enough, and I will be ordering from Kendra again! There was only one problem - multiple people came back for second pieces of cake 😊 Next time I will order a little extra because her cakes are absolutely delicious!”

“Pastries and Prints by Margot did cupcakes for our December wedding and they were heavenly! They were beautiful, so beautiful the guests didn't know if they should eat them or just admire them. The bagels were warm and the cheese was perfectly ooey gooey when I opened them up at home. We ordered online and we're able to pick up very quickly. The couple running the shop are nice + as friendly as they need to be. I've seen reviews complaining that they don't make conversation. They run a bagel business not a friendship business. If that's not your vibe that's fine but don't expect them to be chatty Cathy's with everyone that walks in.”
