“Stopping on the third leg of our journey home from Columbus Ohio to San Antonio Texas. This is our last stop and it was very accommodating. They were super clean and the bedding was luxury level. My only complaint was the phone in our room didn't work LOL but honestly we didn't need it. Good morning breakfast with simple treats cereal and eggs and of course waffles. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was really good for the price and I will stay there again if I'm ever on a trip like this.”

“Every day i drive by the como motel thinking man, i need to find a reason to stay there. Papadequx and papasitos (however its spelled) is right next door. Im thinking this could be a cheap baby making spot. So i set the mood in room 121 for my lady. Jk no sec was had, but she was in love with the 70's authentic. Every room is secluded by a layer of brick and mortar. The 70s style sign greets you as you pull in. Cash only, both IDs scanned, it felt illegal to stay here. But the stay was beyond imagination. There's an abandoned pool in the middle witch makes you think of a forgotten time of play and wondor. When you walk in the room everything is neat and straight, they even give you 2 cups wrapped in plastic to drink out of. I was lucky enough to get a room with a refrigerator to keep our date night food cold but i warned my lady, we cant heat this up since there is no microwave so you have to eat this cold. Little fuss was recieved. The shower has hot hot water so enter at your own risk. You can adjust is but my wife likes it hot. The tv has a couple good channels! The bed is basically just a mattress topper on a box frame but it wasnt terrible. The remote for the tv is on a chained cord to the wall so only i had control of the tv. Just be sure to claim the left side of the bed. I work in pest control so ive seen the worst. This room had absolutely no signs of any bugs. Im glad to have made my girls perfect night come true by staying here. There is always a room available for you to wow your lady. As long as your lady loves 70s authentic and investigative murder stuff. Thank you for the stay como motel ”

“This is a great place to stay for the price. It is cheap and better quality then you'd expect from a typical motel. Staff is friendly, location is great right off 35. I pulled over for the night on a long drive up north and was able to hop right back on and continue my way the next morning. If you need a place to sleep during a long drive off 35, would def recommend.”

“Okay let me tell you about the Texas motel. I hear that they're janky people are mad because check out time and if you want to stay over you still have to check out blah blah blah. Well I went last night. And I thought to myself self what are you signing yourself up for one I don't like bugs two you're not going to get no sleep here you know everyone said how dirty it was, I'm glad I'm grown and can make my own assessments. The shock and disbelief that everybody had lied to me about this establishment because of the age of the hotel and the location that it's in,hurt. You should never judge a book by its cover because even if it is worn and torn it could still be a good book well I owe the Texas motel a great big apology because last night I got a good night's sleep really good and on top of that it was clean very clean kudos to the housekeepers . Not exactly sure who started that rumor but shame on them. Because they were clean it was clean it smells so good when I walked in that room.Thank you to the owners. Y'all are amazing.The extra hour of sleep only cost $10 but it was well worth it. I recommend them to anyone. And I figure it like this it's the people who stay at this establishment as guest customers have whatever you want to label them as they're the ones who make these places what they are if you don't want to go to a dirty motel don't trash it out don't tear it up be respectful pick up after yourself don't leave a mess don't bring a whole bunch of g*********** and drugs and everything else to the establishment treat everybody as you want to be treated. “Seems like they have problems with booking. Online it said there was about 5 more rooms.. When I got there,, he kinda seemed like I was lucky to get it?! Even though I already paid and had it booked. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had fried potatoes, eggs,sausage, waffles and the rest of the basics. Bed was comfy. The parking lot is pretty small. No semi parking.”

He is the ultimate professional and the best in this grooming game. His prices are very reasonable. “My wife and I stayed here in November 2022 and were really impressed with the service and amenities; plenty of water pressure and heat, amazingly comfortable bed and sheets. Room service, valets and front desk staff were all helpful, professional and kind. The in-room phone was intuitive. The room and amenities were almost spotless and very aesthetic. We had room cleaning and the room seemed brand new when we returned, and anything brought to the room was done promptly. The staff was extremely efficient in packing and unpacking the car. Liz and I felt thoroughly well treated. Their restaurant was delicious, the food and service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it; there is a strong recommendation for more formal clothes, but the food and service was worth it. I had never had vegetable juice that I actually liked before, and some of the best tomato basil soup of my life. The rest of their entrees were excellent as well. I had never had beef tartar before, and was a fan instantly. My only complaint was making sure the reservation in advance and any turndown detail were correctly set up, sometimes it was hard to get a good answer through the phone. However, the staff was very courteous and we got everything figured out in the end.”

“Rooms are OK. I always appreciate white bedding so I can see and look for any visible dirt or bugs. This room was clean no bugs. Restroom was clean. The front desk was nice and helpful. Me and my kids enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub alot. It had a lot of chlorine but giving covid and monkey pox I understand. It was hard to get my kids up for breakfast. They didn't give me a hard time for taking breakfast up for them. They had the standard waffles and cereal that we didn't have. We opt for the fresh fruit and yogurt and juice. The wonderful room service staff was able to save my swimsuits that we left. So all and all 5 stars for sure”

“We relocated from Houston & stayed a lot a few hotels, this being our last and Best! Everything was great, but especially the cleanliness and customer service. The morning front desk agent, Mr. Vin, has such a positive attitude and has always been very nice and polite. We haven’t experienced that with Hotels here, and it’s very refreshing! We’re new in town knowing no one at all, & him being so nice is more than welcoming! The breakfast has been the best yet, also! A full breakfast that my daughter loves, and it really helped make this feel like a temporary home and not just a room. Y’all are wonderful! 🌟”

“A MUST DO FOR CHRISTMAS IN THE DFW AREA This was easily one of the most beautiful activities I have done this year with friends! I purchased a ticket during the week, so when I went, the traffic was very light and I got to drive through the entire light maze in peace. PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR HEADLIGHTS as the person behind me was rushing and had his high beams on. I was going 5 MPH and he was not happy about how slowly I was taking it, but oh he waited. If you drive slowly through, it will take about 15 minutes to drive through the entire thing. DON'T BE THAT JERK THAT RUINS OTHERS EXPERIENCE BY RUSHING THROUGH IT AND NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS! I have to give the creators of this event major props for their hard work and creativity. The light set up is impressive, and they have a radio station synchronized with their lights, so it just really wraps everything up so perfectly. The amazing benefit of this place is that you are inside your vehicle at all times. This is family friendly, and a great way to social distance without having to be close to strangers. I hope you give this one a chance, you will not regret it!”

“The staff here are friendly and straight to the point. The rooms are spacious, fridge and microwave are included as well. I didn’t get the chance to take pictures. On a personal level, I prefer rooms with hard floors rather than carpet though. (Not a complaint.. just a personal preference) I would return for a stay here and would recommend a stay here.”
