“Visited Royal Chicken in Duncanville last Sat. with my son. We ordered an 8 piece legs and thighs, 3pc fish fillets, and chicken salad. I also got the lemon tea. The owner personally came out and greeted and shook hands with all customers before leaving. The food was freshly cooked so there should be an expected wait time for new customers but just be patient and you’ll have hot food out the grease. The chicken was seasoned well and accompanied with fries pickles and peppers. My son loved the fish and and my chicken salad was fulfilling. Pros: Nice choices, good service, good food. Cons: Salad didn’t combine spinach or mixed greens (but still good). Location is not bad but could be difficult to find for people not aware of the location. Finally there may be a bit of sticker shock to some but I think the food is worth the price and valued well. Over all, please visit one of their two locations and support Black Owned Businesses. You won’t be disappointed.”

“My family and I are currently on a cross country road trip and we found ourselves passing through Dallas about lunch time and promised the kiddos pizza. I scoured google to find a place that would check all the boxes. A delicious local gem with ample parking for our truck and camper trailer and the thing all road weary parents need… Beer. Pizza Getti doesn’t serve alcohol but is BYOB, per the website. Color me intrigued. I call in to place a order and Kyle answers and is very friendly and helpful. He even checked to see if I was calling the right location as the caller ID showed my out of state area code. Upon arrival, we are greeted with smiles by staff and regulars alike. This is a local haunt for sure and packed with regular customers. Kyle happens to be cutting our pizzas as we walk in and somehow knew the order was for us. He’s unfazed when we ask if we can eat our takeout pizza in the dining room and Nicole, the super sweet server, seats us quickly. She and Kyle offered us plates but we insisted on eating our pizza out of the boxes like the heathens we are. Nicole checked on us several times and was an absolute doll. Kyle, who turned out to be the owner, checked on us as well as Jamie, one of the cooks. The pizzas were delicious and the service and hospitality was unmatched, but I wouldn’t expect anything less of an establishment that’s been around for 50 plus years. We left with full tummies and hearts, feeling like part of the family.”

“Service is impeccable! Decor is simple and nice. We came for date night drinks around 10:15pm. Ordered the porch and a skinny margarita. Ample seating indoor and a nice patio. Once I finished shopping I said let try it and plus they sell Fried pies took. Bingo! I opened my plate. Presentation was on point. I took a bite and OH MY GOODNESS! Ribs was Super Super Super Tender and Seasoning on point. Bake beans was Great. The regular and hot BBQ sauce was Excellent Flavor. Now the Peach fried pies were the BOMB! Overall was a 5 Star! The actual seating area was small but very clean and they had a TV on playing music videos. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I got the surf n turf burrito, jumbo, and boy oh boy! Definitely hit the spot. Had shrimp and steak in it served with green sauce and red sauce. The red sauce was less than desirable but the green was on point. The burrito itself was about the size of forearm, which is how they should be. No child should be able to consume this and that's just what I wanted. They also have beer on tap and a cooler full of bottled beer as well. Definitely 5 starts, Definitely coming back. Do yourself a favor and try this place out!”

“I love this place! A friend got me tacos from here, and I come when I can.. My daughter is picky with her tacos and was craving birria. I told her about this place, but it was the weekend. So she had to wait till Monday. I got them for her and didn't tell her where I got them. When she found out, she couldn't believe they didn't come from a sit down restaurant but a gas station spot (honestly those type of spots usually serve the best food) Now, this is her new favorite birria taco spot! She used to drive to Dallas and pay almost twice the price! She said these are the best she's had. The only downside is that they are closed on the weekends, but I completely understand. It's a small family owned business run mainly by the dad. I definitely recommend that you try and give this place 5 stars!”

Their dish was delish in every way….a very delectable treat of queso, with a grilled avacado stuffed with the fluffiest of scrambled eggs, sprinkled with cotija cheese, some pickled onions and topped with a little chip for crunch! It had every element and was a hands down winner for me!! Love you guys!!”
