“Come to your appointment with questions because he will not give you the necessary information unless you ask. He was in my room for a full 2.5 minutes today, which is quite a lot for him. He truly needs to relearn his people skills. We want to know what is going on with our bodies and he briefly if at all explains what is going on then quickly leaves the room. I have an appointment in one month but did not know why or what it is about. His very nice nurses and other staff had to explain the reason as to why I am returning to see him. It seems that he only cares about you when you are in for surgery and when you return for surgery. Dr. Cantrell please give us just another minute or two of your time and try to explain in layman’s terms what is going on. Looking at pictures of an MRI does absolutely nothing for me. I am not an orthopedist and therefore can not analyze these images. I hope he and you all will take this information to heart. From information I was given the surgery was “perfect.” I guess I will find out. Thank you”

“I love Northpointe Psychiatry they are always so kind, understanding and always very thorough. My only complaint is sometimes when you call it is hard to get through to someone that's the only reason I didn't give then 5 stars. Other than that this is a wonderful place to go if you need help with anything psychology related. You never have to wait long to be seen when you arrive for your appointment and the most important thing to me is they listen, they really made me feel heard and like I was being treated specifically for my needs. Also if I feel like something is not working for me like my meds or anything all I have to do is tell my doctor and she gets it fixed right away. I HIGHLY recommend this place there may be a little bit of a wait before they can see you but trust me it's WORTH THE WAIT! They also take Medicaid!!!! Just wanted to share this because I was suffering for so long before finding Northpointe so I felt I had to share, especially if I can just help one person by sharing.”

The evaluation (I chose the evaluation recommended for patients over 50 years of age) done was very extensive and when she found an issue she took the time to explain to me what was going on and provided recommendations. “I woke up one morning with a horrible pain from my shoulder to my wrist. I let it go for a few weeks thinking it would go away on its own. It didn't. It just got worse and the pain was intolerable. Dr. Tory was recommended to me by a dear friend. He immediately knew what my issue was after looking at x-rays. I had a pinched nerve in my neck. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. The pain relief was gradual over the course of about a month, but was tolerable after about two weeks of treatments. After about a month, I was pain free and was just going for spine adjustments to try to avoid this ever happening again. I will forever be in Dr. Tory's debit!!”
